IF these specs are legit (and that's a very strong if), I wouldn't expect PS5 to be much more powerful GPU-wise. Probably both are in the same ballpark.

But I think 16GB of RAM is surprisingly little. It may be enough, but a quite minor improvement over X (it will likely be faster though). There's an area for Sony to one-up Microsoft, if they can do a repeat of PS4 and source 24GB of GDDR6 at a reasonable price.
 
Unless they made a less hungry operation system with I highly doub, they need to put more RAM into Scarlett.

Even if PS5 is 13TF I doubt there'd be much diff....
Lockhart will be the main separation driver between the two.
 
Someone in beyond3d posted this pastebin. Correlates with Windows Central post today and shows why ps5 was thought to be a little higher but not as it's a little over 10 and anaconda is 12+ according to this supposed leak, MS bumped it up. Which I believe they would if they believe Sony was higher TF at any point. Grain of salt but I tend to put some stock in this one cause it also correlates today's Windows Central . I think this leak is intended to make Sony underestimate the Scarlett RAM and make them think 16GB is enough. Microsoft, as cunning and creative as ever, wants to mirror what Sony did last gen

Nothing. The process decision is the interesting bit. They chose TSMC despite having a Samsung partnership on EUV (rumors about bad performance) and are using TSMCs N7P instead of N7+. They are speculating that TSMC does not have volume capacity for EUV atm.
 
So potentially PS5 at 10.2TF and Anaconda at 12TF.. I wonder if that could mean Lockhart-$299, PS5-$399 and Anaconda-$499. That would make next-gen very interesting.

I mean, I will say its pretty crazy the Scarlett specs leaked this soon after they were sent out (which was about a week ago) but everything seems to be pointing at PS5 being about 10. Obviously I don't know the answer to this, but feel pretty confident on it.
 
This whole HW RT affair is pretty amusing to watch. Essentially Nvidua forced Sony and MSFT to demand it from AMD. Even though in its current state it's a crap of technology.
Well played Nvidia. Without thus shit it would silently die as PC only crap, but now it has a chance.

The reason ppl on here are happy tht Osiris is back os bcus he's leaked stuff before tht was true. He leaked pspro existence and specs months before we knew and it was true. Also few other things.

I remember the naysayers when ps4og specs were leaked and thy came out to be almost exact as the leaked info.

We take all leakers leaks with caution but some have been more right than others and he has been before.

In this very same thread, Osiris said he didn't hear anything about 12 or even 11 TF. For Osiris, that would put ps5 at ~10.9, Microsoft around 10. Idk, just doesn't seem like this person should be seen as credible compared to the sources today. This feels like a controlled leak by Microsoft, its coming from a bunch of xbox-centric personalities on social media.

Except the Pro/NEO/4.5 was first revealed to be a thing by Kotaku during GDC 2016 two weeks before Osiris' post. Then the NEO docs leaked and were revealed by Giant Bomb. Full and detailed specs showed the real info.

I'm showing the last quote I saw on this same page. That may not be the first time he alluded or mentioned it not to mention the fact tht it has to go through mods first before it's approved to be shared. Idk what conspiracy theory we are going for here but the consensus is he leaked it first. Did kotaku have some info beforehand maybe but was it the Info he shared and as precise? Did thy give numbers? Idk I'm not going back to compare and contrast.
