Still there are people who care an want to know what the features are. VRS, DLSS equivalent and so onTalking about GPUs in detail doesn't sell consoles, games do.

WOW...
They specifically say hardware though. The simple response to that xbox tweet is that Microsoft are clearly referencing the DirectX integration.
Anyone who is surprised that the PS5 doesn't use DirectX should get out of this thread!
Somebody ringgeordiemp and check he is ok.
PC? *spits*Member when guys in this thread said that PC gaming would takes years to catch up to PS5 and that devs might drop support for Xbox due to how weak it is?
So dumb, yet the reasonable people got banned.

I read and basically says "well AMD is using the names as us because they use DirectX" because Xbox is not
mentioning Infinite cache in any place and please don't tell me is not an essential part of RDNA 2 with those
high clocks.
Basically any feature you see in one side exists in the other but only using another name.
PC? *spits*
I am hoping today's news lowers some cards prices so I can get a good deal lol.
I feel as if I have a full and firm grasp on the ramifications of this latest announcement from Xbox.
I just have one small query, if someone wouldn't mind filling me in:
What does RDNA stand for?
Dude, do you know what you're talking about? A base clock and a sustained clock are 2 different things. Even a boost clock (or above) can be sustained depending on your cooling / power draw. Can you read? I said ustained clocks, none of the game clocks on any of the Radeon 6000 GPUs is higher than 2.04Ghz. Boost clocks are higher, that's true but those are not sustained clocks.
He was right about a lot of stuff so lets see where his other leaks are headed.Aside this ridiculous console war.
People we have a real insider with RedGamingTech that infinite cache wow.
Well, we get a little taste on the 12th of November. And now the wait for RDNA3 begins...
Features that could come to RDNA3. Slightly different. It's that the same red gaming that was talking about the PS5 with RDNA 3 features?
Maybe Sony swapped out RDNA 1 features for RDNA 3.
ROPs - 96!!!!
Perhaps the 80 ROPs for Xbox Series X was right all along.
I debated this a couple of month ago and got called a fanboy and stupid for even suggesting the idea that Xbox Series X could have more than 64 ROPs.
Well now the RX 6800 has 60 CUs and 96 ROPs (cut down from the bigger cards - 80 and 72 CUs with 128 ROPs).

Xbox Series X|S are the only next-generation consoles with full hardware support for all the RDNA 2 capabilities AMD showcased today.
Navi 21 will have a 128MB Infinity Cache. Meanwhile AMD isn't speaking about other GPUs, but those will presumably include smaller caches as fast caches eat up a lot of die space. On which note, doing some quick paper napkin math and assuming AMD is using standard 6T SRAM, Navi 21's Infinity Cache would be at least 6 billion transistors in size, which is a significant number of transistors even on TSMC's 7nm process (for reference, the entirety of Navi 10 is 10.3B transistors).
Not again... please
and still no games lol
HAHA Riky my old m8, have you learned by now not to fall foul to Microsoft PR spin department hahahaah.
I am meant to be the fish, but you just got done like a kipper hahaha
Don't hate me, but listening to you go all commando style kicking in a door only to find out its standard is kinda funny.
Sorry
I agree but I found annoying is the people believe anything the PR says without think for a moment like this:You usually put what is needed. If a flying car doesn't need wheels, it doesn't have to advertise them. Still I think that flying car should advertise its combustion engines or its magnetic levitation system.
In this case MS is selling "data". And Sony is selling "echos". It is a battle in which MS is alone, since Sony does not need to prove anything at this point, it is MS that is trying to regain a credibility or position that it lost in recent years.
Although I do think that Sony should not limit itself to publishing the new App. But hey, tomorrow the sun will rise and it will be another day.
Oh I 'member....Member when guys in this thread said that PC gaming would takes years to catch up to PS5 and that devs might drop support for Xbox due to how weak it is?

Radeon DNA (RDNA), it's basically the name they chose to give their lastest GPU architecture(s).
I was kinda making a lame gag dude, but thanks for showing me I need to work on it![]()
I wasn't the one doing daily countdowns, tick tock etc.....all will become clear in a few days.....he was right it would lift an NDA but it was Microsoft who were under it
Even you have to admit it's pretty funny.
Yes, that's the 'intersection engine' from Road to PS5.
Series S is not a 4K console. The XSX and PS5 are. High bandwidth is needed for higher resolutions. 3070 is not comparable, that thing is a monster with lots of extra silicon. Edit: and also features 512GB/s as per Nvidia, not 448.Its plenty of bandwidth. The 3070 is 448 GB/s too.
The Xbox has even worse split bandwidth. 336 GB/s bottleneck.
Series S is only 224 GB/s at best, split, some at just 56 GB/s.
The consoles will be fine. They're not $1000 monsters.
This is interesting. Looking at all the announced GPUs it seems like there is a 1:1.6 ratio between CUs and ROPs.Well now the RX 6800 has 60 CUs and 96 ROPs (cut down from the bigger cards - 80 and 72 CUs with 128 ROPs).
Series X has confirmed 64ROPs by MS at Hotchips.

"Xbox Series X|S will be the only next gen consoles with full RDNA 2 integration, thanks to our close working partnership with
@AMD"
LMFAOOOOOO GUYS GET IN HERE! GUESS WHOS REALLY BEEN FUDING IT UP?!
Isnt the above exactly what everyone has been saying about Sony for months?
ROPs - 96!!!!

Welcome back X-FighterI WAS RIGHT

Tick Tock, times up, what truth did we learn?
