Ok gonna go play now. Wanna tell you this about WD:L on PS5:
-Plays well overall, can't notice dips but they might be there but I didn't notice.
-Sounds are pure porn in this game with 3D audio on. Although 3D space sources seems limited overall, but man when you are inside the car with these music Pulse 3D is a killer with its insane clarity and clean, punchy bass! Especially when you get out of car and you hear the music muffled coming out of it. Sounds are great overall.
-Graphics are ok, you see jaggies here and there and pop ins and outs.
-RT is ok, but feels like noise in some places and not well done.
Overall, I'm enjoying the game so much. It's a goofy game that doesn't need to be taken seriously. And man, I enjoy my new African spy! Jokes and humor is different and nice overall from one accent/character to another. There is good variety in voice acting and I think Ubisoft did a great job here. Got it for like $41 from the PS store.

OK so here is as close to a match in scenes from the vid as that driving section was, yet ps5 is ahead on most or give or take.
Not quite the 'win' for xbox in that mode its made out to be is it.....

Watch the graph it has the same fluctuation width for both consoles and the same sustaned framerate afaics. Plus Ps5 has higher graphics settings on shadows

I think they look kinda shit in the glass/on the cars (especially on the cars! lol), spoiled by Spider-Man. I am liking the game more than the 2nd one.Hopping onto a big drone and flying around on slow speed pursuits is fun.
Locked 30fps on both next gen twins.

It could but it's just an upgrade from the X1X version. It's also notable that the Series S version is the most stable at 60fps.

Nope not identical at all you can see in your screenshots, same area but not exactly the same, however as said xbox seems ahead in that area.
Inside with that door scene ps5 is consistently ahead for eg.
Just like in dmc it was ahead more indoors too for some reason.

I know I'll be playing with VRR, the loading is like 2 seconds, not the huge advantage that some people were trying to claim.

Again, this is a game with a terrible graphics and those versions comes from old versions (xbox,ps4) OBVIOUSLY ps4/ps5 version looks a "little bit" better.

I love how ever since Phil Spencer made that poor excuse about not needing games for a new console launch because it’s going to sell out regardless, Xbox fanboys are now using that as if to indirectly downplay PS5 sales. Over at trashsetera the PS5 UK sales thread has some fanboys saying yeah it was going to sellout anyway at launch. Like sales are going to be any different when stock normalizes for both consoles.
And yet here you see in your picture clearly Xbox consoles are not actually sold out. You can even find Series X in a few other places. The PS5 demand in higher. Like any sane person knew it was going to be.
I noticed MS creates preemptive narratives when they know they’re going to be lacking in an area. That’s what the whole “we don’t need games for launch” talk was about. Seeing how the console is in fact not completely sold out, they clearly did need new first party games.

Don't play dumb, neither console in this 28 seconds driving sequence holds sustained lead more than a couple of seconds each.
The conclusion is over a long gameplay period you can say on average XSX has a higher base FPS and and maintains 120 X % of the time but none of the console stick to 120fps for any long duration of time in that particular sequence. Again this is why i like what VGTech does when he shares his data.

How come nobody is talking about the improved automatic cloud save implementation on PS5?
Seems like it has parity with how Xbox has been doing cloud saves for a while, whereas on PS4 you had to remember to manually sync.
Or am I retarded and missed that this worked on PS4 too?

That's really weird. Upgrades to the PS5 version are available for free in the Store and can be redeemed for an account with a PS4 license - which should not depend on how the license was obtained.

The PS4 periodically syncs cloud saves in the background, IIRC. Maybe the PS5 just checks and pushes the latest modified save after every play session now.

TBH I wasn't a + subscriber most of the gen so on the off chance I needed a save moved I just used USB.

You're ignoring the fact that DF said the advantage in 120fps mode is with Series X, I'd take framerate.
If you're talking about 60fps then Series S is actually the most solid.

okay, finally i bought both Demon's Souls and MM UE. I started Demon's Souls as mage class for a challenge. one rule i set for myself is to remain in soul form. finished 1-1, haven't beat 1-2 yet. Man, starting as a mage soul is so hard. lol. any tips? Funnily, when I started playing the game, i don't pay attention to the graphics. But the grass stands out a bit simply because everything else is so good.
I haven't played MM yet cuz I wanted to finish the remaster first. I have been playing using the fidelity mode because I have confidence in insomniac's motion blur. I'm happy to report that it didn't disappoint. It is indeed the best 30fps implementation on the market. I can switch between 60fps and 30fps with little adjustment needed. I will take insomniac's 30fps mode if it means RT and better lighting.
well, back to work and more gaming.

Have better framerate a couple of seconds using some settings below PS5 just for lost in performance again the next couple of seconds
against the PS5 (which also load faster) is not the definition of clearly more powerful.
Not because I can run in a higher framerate a game in medium settings in PC compare to high settings in another PC with better specs means
the first example is more powerful, another example not because PS4 pro can run with a better framerate Anthem in a lower resolution means
is more power full than Xbox one X because that one is running the game in a much higher resolution.
The last month just show us both machines are incredible close and most of the cases PS5 won, get over.
