PS5 is pushing >2.14x what the Pro is doing here (probably more). Minimum 28fps on Pro vs locked 60fps on PS5. When you do some maths, use the right numbers at disposal.

I don't know what's worse the overreaction or the lack of understanding that these connected devices WILL be cut off from their respective networks in time, regardless of the hardware. There will come a point where allowing these devices to connect to the network will be a major security problem, and that's when they will be cut off.
IMO, I wouldn't worry about trying to make the console manufacturers support archaic hardware forever. Better to use that energy to ensure that they properly support the old software on new hardware.

I think it's safe to say that not all of this is due to MS fanboys. A lot of this is self-inflicted. Sony having ND make TLOU remake, gutting Japan studios, letting MLB go to gamepass, and this cmos thing is all true and just unfortunate. It's up to Sony to end this run of bad press by changing the conversation with either a state of play or a quick and dirty reveal of a big IP like gow or horizon, but their marketing doesn't believe in doing their job so here we are continuing to talk about this.

It was DICE who pioneered Compute Shaders in the previous gen in the Battlefield games and they later became widely adopted, that same technology has now evolved into Mesh and Primitive Shaders which are one of the biggest gains the PS5 and Series X will have over the previous gen.
My prediction is that DICE will do the same with Battlefield 6, we've already gotten glimpses of their next-gen engine and it's really impressive, especially the facial animations, physics and destructions.

I believe the rumors that Kojima is making an Xbox game. The official news was he was making a smaller, episodic game, based of cloud servers for google. I think that’s the game he’s working on for Xbox. Everything else is hype and hot air, on purpose to hype up a certain audience.

The Series X doesn't have any inherent hardware advantage for RT over PS5. Both console's RT hardware is more or less identical.
XSX has more RT cores but are clocked lower. PS5 has less but are clocked higher. The theoretical difference in BVH setup, traversal and Ray Tracing is equal to the theoretical difference in compute performance, i.e. 18% advantage to the XSX, which is basically negligible.
