there were leaks way ago that ps5 is aiming over 2ghz clocks so how sony could knew that xseriesx is 12tflops at that time? possibly even xbox hw at that time weren't at 12tflops.I didn't said that

Wait, so if people subscribed to the Official PlayStation Magazine in UK get the digital copy a week earlier before it's physical copy sale (Next Tuesday, May 5th), that day is supposed to be today. Based on what's on this magazine's June issue cover, I think we're getting a DualSense info blowout with a Horizon Zero Dawn 2 reveal in a few hours.
I don't even know if this image is real, I haven't seen it from any official source, it could very well be photoshopped.

Nope. I never done that and I will never do that. It's just, i had this conversation where i put my thoughts and reasoning and arguments few times here and I won't bother to repeat that again and again and again. I had sensible conversation with few PS fans here, but it was surrounded with other people lashing out and their only argument was "spreading FUD"
Thing is - if we use GitHub as the guideline to this, the same data would suggest XSX was 'upclocked' in second half of 2019 (or later) as well.
It's telling that only one Mhz number is being scrutinized in so many ways though.

Maybe don't pin hopes on OPM having unreleased information from Sony ready to go. Took information from a 2018 interview and republished it as new information. Only they got stuff wrong and admitted neither the dev nor Sony were involved with the article.

This just seems like a pretty childish way to perceive things. Feel free to check my post history but yeah I do favour Sony on the game side but right now don't own a Sony console as my Pro was just too loud but do have access to a One X (which is very impressive on the cooling side BTW).
If you are happy with Xbox then why are you concerned about what Sony fans think of PlayStation?

The Quantum Error dev confirmed the issue's real, and I don't see OPM UK making up "design secrets" about the new controller without Sony giving them info, and it's talking about a Horizon 2 reveal as if it already happened. That's just it; they must've at least been attempting to implement a fixed frequency approach for a "while" because you still have Oberon revisions clocked at 2 GHz. Now, granted, those could've been 2 GHz clocked to run in a compatible Ariel iGPU profile mode, truth is we won't exactly know for sure. At the very least they had to at least wait until they could get their hands on Oberon silicon to test the variable frequency and see how well it would work in real-life scenarios with the cooling system at that point in its development.
Big companies spend tons of cash on features that go unused in commercial products all the time. I'm sure if you wanted, you could find patents for older PS consoles for concepts that never made it into a retail system.
So IMO it's perfectly conceivable that even with the planning beforehand and structuring everything out, they could've decided to try a less complex/less costly approach just to see if targets could still be hit on a fixed frequency strategy. If they did, then regardless of the work done planning for a variable frequency solution, the R&D put into it wouldn't necessarily mean they'd need to put it in the system if the need was not present as, again, companies do this sort of stuff regularly. Sometimes they even create patents just to patent, even if there is no genuine intent in applying the patent to an idea.
....But that's something along the levels of patent trolling and the only gaming company I know of which does that today is "Atari".

Not sure what you mean by patent trolling. Like most tech companies out there, Sony does have a penchant for collecting patents from any kind of R&D they pursuit.

I'm not implying the cover isn't real. What I'm saying is don't get your hopes up this revealing any new information on the dualsense that Sony hasn't already published. As for the dev thoughts on DualSense, plenty of comments on this on the web. Could easily be repackaged as an article.
The only thing on the cover that has the potential of new information is the "Surprising" HZD sequel. Could be some spin on the tweet from Guerrilla Games and the surprise is that it appears this is a PS5 only game, rather than PS4/5.

It says on the bottom right corner of the magazine cover, "revealed" and Titan revealed this comic on March 26th with a May release date but then it got postponed to July 22 due to the coronavirus. I just don't see them referring to the comic series as a sequel, that's a dumb thing to do if that turns out to be the case since the second game is most likely in development, which also happens to be a sequel.

That's a dumb thing to do? Welcome to OPM. You know, the magazine that republished old information as new, still gets it wrong, and has to issue an apology to say Sony wasn't involved in the article. Now that's a dumb thing to do.
The comic was announced, releasing 2nd May. I'm sure they have a copy of that early, and maybe they are revealing something from that, or ... old information is new again.
As I said .. don't get your hopes up is all.
