Zen 2 uses separate dies for the cores (each core cluster die is called CCX) and for I/O which are connected through infinity fabric. XSX has a single silicon die, the memory controllers are inside the same die as the GPU and CPU so both can use the same controllers. Wiring isn't a problem, it's all the same monolithic die, they are just part of the silicon. All 5 controllers are wired to both the GPU and CPU, just like any other console monolithic APU. It's extremely standard. When reading from the 10GB addresses 5 controllers are used, when reading from the 3.5Gb addresses 3 controllers are used. Simple as that.

Oh, I agree. I just don't get Xbox fans being angry or melting down because they found out the logo intro was done somewhere else before. It's a cool concept. Just like I don't understand mocking MS for doing it because it was done before. It's a cool concept.

Apparently alot of people on both sides. Because we've got retarded Xbox fans melting down because they found out their favorite plastic box manufacturer's new logo intro was done somewhere else first and we've got Sony fans suddenly so proud that this fifteen second intro was done by their favorite plastic box manufacturer first.

Sadly, there are retarded fanbois on both sides of the fence. People fawning over reveals, controllers, intros, logos, power cables, number of ports on the back/front of a console... come on.

We need a proper reveal, proper next-gen games to see if this generation's hardware is as cool as it sounds on paper. And a decent conversation on the subject.
