I told you guys the OS features will be revolutionary. Sony is leaving no stone unturned, every aspect of the console must be a huge upgrade..... What I am most looking forward to is the teardown of the console, which would show the custom design in more light and also clue us in on the ports included and other bits. Of course equally, and even more importantly is the OS, since it's the interface and feature set we will be using everyday alongside the 'well rumored" revamped PSN.....Sony is going all out with no twiddling of thumbs insight......That Jim Ryan is just a ravenous predator....ODDWORLD CREATOR SUGGESTS PS5 WILL ALLOW PLAYERS TO HELP EACH OTHER OUT MORE THAN EVER

Oddworld Creator Suggests PS5 Will Allow Players To Help Each Other Out More Than Ever
This could very well spell trouble for website and YouTube game guides.culturedvultures.com
If your product have 3D Audio I guess this is the best way possible of advertising. lolFound this on Facebook, PS5 ad on Spotify

Can anyone explain to me what the hell is going on here???

Am I just a perv an it IS what I think it is... and even then I'm not sure what that is?!
They already do red cases for PlayStation Hits and it seems no compromise.Eh I doubt it. Sony will sell less and less physical copies, why waste the money to start making new cases? They already have the supply chain and materials to make PS4 cases, just reuse them and save cash. Looks like PS5 cases are just PS4 cases with a new slipcover header.

Man, Hargett is vicious, brutal even, and not just this time alone you see..... Hargett is like the FUD police. Everytime I've seen FUD's ugly critter face pop up, trying to spread germs and bacteria in the media circle, Hargett pops around and deals some brutal justice to these infectious microorganisms. He is like the ultimate Sylvester Stallone clone, unleashed against the FUDfaithful.....Hear ye Hear ye, a cleansing they shall receive...
I will believe the games. We have Craig vs Ratchet, Craig vs Miles, Craig's land vehicle vs GTA7I should probably not write this but need to get it off my chest.
We have limited information regarding several features for the new consoles - XSX and PS5.
When I read posts here, on the Discord ERA group or that other forum one theme that is recurring is that Sony is not being honest about their new system. That Sony is trying to talk up the SSD or Audio solutions because the PS5 is far behind the XSX in terms of GPU.
The fair take is that we do not fully know the capabilities of the new systems. Secondly, the majority of us do not have sufficient knowledge about the microarchitecture of consoles to be able to assess the importance of low latency high-throughout I/O, how much of a potential bottleneck the GPU caches are, the average utilisation of CUs and what is actually holding them back, the power consumption pattern of a modern GPU and how that relates to bottle-necks and thermal limits and so on.
All we have are the words of team Sony (mostly through Mark Cerny) and team MS (mostly through the words of Phil Spencer).
Now - based on our Dunning-Kruger immersed cooking at these forums - why on earth would anyone bet that Phil is right over Mark? If I knew nothing and just looked at the statements from both of them over the last 5-10 years and checked those statements vis-a-vis actual outcome, no-one in their right mind would trust Spencer over Cerny.
Please note that ultimately we will have to wait for the two new consoles to perform in the real world across a plethora of games and applications to know. But right now I do not understand why people mistrust Cerny - and what makes them trust Spencer so much. I simply do not get it.
I made this. Does it mean I can market myself as an indie developer ?![]()

Does anyone know the number of ACEs in each?
X1 has 2, PS4 has 8
Hmm, can't find the numbers for One X and Pro, both had more than their original ones and again the Pro has more than 1X.
So am wondering how many of the se are in each next gen console as well!
Swim. Swim on.
Has nobody else mentioned yet how huge the leap in raw geometry is compared to last gen? At least a 5X leap at minimum.Stop this at once. You damn well know that the only thing that matters is that 12 > 10!
I hope not, UE5 nanites relay on ACEsXBSX still has 2. From their hot chips presentation.
Or not, Geordiemp was funny althought lately Geordiemp was very burned with the FUD of the greens.

Ps X-fighter reported MIA. unconfirmed kill
Oh no. I relied on his tech wizardry so I could basterdize it and pretend I know something.
I guess I'm down to just the metroid guy now. First world problems...
Seriously, it's just a temp for Geordiemp right?
I hope not, UE5 nanites relay on ACEs

If PS5 has 8 or more ACEs, then what could that mean for power/performance, etc.
I think both consoles will have 2.
Scheduling was improved in RDNA.
The reason for 8 ACE in GCN was the lack of a good scheduler, that can fill all the pipelines. That's why RDNA IPC grew so much over GCN.

Wouldn't they need them for back compat or no?
Erm yeah I think, and that you already knew what I'm thinking then welcome to the clubPure filth and i am not talking about the picture. YOUR MIND
If they wait this much the price has to be cheap don't ya'll think?
