That depends on if you are firmly in one camp or the other![]()
Is it something that'll persuade me once and for all to pre order a Series X?

No, I think the length of the PS5(when laid on it side) is because of the 12 channel custom SSD controller setup and the resultant performance and how you keep that cool to maintain the performance by keeping them away from each other. I think the thickness/height of the ps5 is to house a double sided heatsink - making the overclock efficient - so at worst I would expect AMD cards to occupy twice the width of now ( 1 extra PC expansion slots bay behind as well as the 1 in front) but remain the same length form factor. Not if it's within normal specifications, no. Now, if you go with an aggressive overclock you're going to need a bigger PSU and a huge case. That's not even a knock on the PS5, but SmartShift is meant to increase the efficiency of any given power budget, the fact they still need a unit as big as the PS5 clearly demonstrates how far outside the sweet spot they are. Looks like the new AMD cards are going to be twice the size of the 3090.
Yes both MM versions are physical releases, ultimate comes with DLC code for the remaster.Huh.. no physical release is interesting..
Miles Morales part is getting a physical release right? Just not this ultimate edition that comes with the remaster? Whole thing is kinda odd.
I know how they work internally, if they were to shut down a studio they would move people into other teams . With big acquisitions usually there is some readjustment.they will do what Sony did with evolution studios, guerrilla Cambridge, zipper studios, incognito, and London studios.... Shut them down.
Oh got it.. so they are still "selling it physical" but it's a DD code...Yes both MM versions are physical releases, ultimate comes with DLC code for the remaster.
People don't pay attention, they said this days ago![]()
Agree this point you explained is incredible harder for some people to understand, the early are adopter are usuallyI think Sony and Microsoft loose money on the Digital boxes so they aren't making as many of them for launch. They know early adopters will go for the more expensive 'elite' console during this period. Which is better for their pocket. Next year I can see them pushing the digital consoles harder.
Exactly this are companies not people if they do or not something is almost always because money.Of course they will "honour" unless they want to pay a big chuck to Sony.
It is a contract if you break it you need to deal with the penalties.
Welcome to GPUs war well is more a massacre by NVIDIA.Oh man I would've liked to play the next doom and TES, I guess I'll have to build a pc at some point in 3-4 years
Don't worry his response will be "Now Bloodborne in PC".
Yeah it's weird, forcing to pay for the MM ultimate to get it. Unless they announce a free upgrade, which I doubt but who knows lol.Oh got it.. so they are still "selling it physical" but it's a DD code...
The question asked is kinda odd as the remaster also doesn't have a separate digital release... Sony being kinda weird here IMO... trying to avoid the perception issue of charging for a re-master I guess but it isn't working on the internet lol

Makes sense. Maybe they'll offer the PS5/Ray traced Spiderman as a cheaper standalone upgradeDLC code that comes with the MM expensive disc version.

Ps5 will cost you 10 bucks more each game.Jimbo mentioned in the past about some unannounced features of the ps5 we're yet to see...
Have we seen this stuff yet!!??![]()
Personally? Could care less. Some folks might want their saved files transfered or hoped for a free upgrade ala Smart delivery but absolutely not expectedDid you want a physical release or something?
The games of EA are a little different, with Its new games I think you only play 10 hours.Gamepass : MS, EA, Bethesda day one
SONY : 79$ FOR GAME
For the first time ever i think that sony may overvalued their exclusives. Clearly the cant port anything more to PC if they want to stay in the business after this gen. I can only imagine how they are right now reevaluating their whole strategy. I think they underestimated MS like we all. Sony looks stupid buying spiderman addon in Avengers and FF.
I think MS finally believed that gaming has big growth perspective.
Just stay in Hold pattern.... Let's see how long Xbox bag of tricks can stay together.Gamepass : MS, EA, Bethesda day one

If they bought Take Two, then Sony is in serious trouble in terms of competition. However, I doubt that they have bought Take Two.![]()

This article made me think that MS AT LEAST approached T2. Did they bought rockstar too ? I think we will see this week.
The cheap-o version of EA Play that comes with Gamepass is old games + you can "preview" new games.. that "preview new game" thing might not even come to Gamepass, just the old EA titles.Gamepass : MS, EA, Bethesda day one

[While Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass has received plenty of praise in recent years, Zelnick doesn't seem convinced by its relevance as we approach next-gen: "I would say I know pretty much for a fact that there will be certain important front-line titles that will not be available on a subscription basis. Those are very much the titles that people buy these platforms for." ]
Thats something you'll know for a fact when you know they can't buy you i guess. T2 alone can be bought by MS. Sony would be guarantee that GTA6 won't be im gamepass. And that it would be 79$![]()

Are we getting new info tomorrow from MS when pre-orders drop? The news....
Its not over....
Sony has 20 bln according to their latest report and was looking into new acquisitions
There won't be any sales? You guys needed a win, last time with the 12TF was months ago.
See that I said user base, meaning potential customers. How many versions of Skyrim did we saw again?
Basic math:
5M x $70 = 350M
25M x $10 = 250M
That said, they need to pay the other publishers their cut from Gamepass.
Are you sure they are willing to ignore the sales? Just like they couldn't ignore on Minecraft case.
It's just business, man.
im mostly kind of bummed about Doom and i would've given TES VI a try even if i didn't really like skyrimPeople freaking out from both camps, meanwhile I'm thinking how much I don't like Elder Scrolls or Fallout, I don't even download those games for free on my PC, if you know what I mean (yarg matey!)
I agree, and we will not hear about T2 acquisition overnight. Pre acquisition news will have to be public.BTW Take 2 is a publicly traded company.. "buying them" is quite a different proposal than buying a private company like Zenimax.
It's incredibly unlikely anyone is buying or taking over Take 2. The price would be insanely high.
Yeah,People freaking out from both camps, meanwhile I'm thinking how much I don't like Elder Scrolls or Fallout, I don't even download those games for free on my PC, if you know what I mean (yarg matey!)
I mean, paying $18B for Take 2 is massive, but worth it.
No man that is too much money. For a fraction of that money they could build up multiple studios that develope similar games to those in that portfolio. Take for example Ghost of Tsushima. It is basically an "AC in Japan". Many people wanted such a game for the longest of time but Ubisoft didn't give a shit. And many people want a GTA outside of the US. Maybe a Getaway sequel???I mean, paying $18B for Take 2 is massive, but worth it.
And like thatTimed Exclusive are much cheaper though.
No need to acquire a company and all the its issues, dept ... and others get to enjoy their games too.

And like that☝a new narrative is born
No good xbox news goes unpunished
Evil Within is the only one from that list that I enjoy, I'm not the biggest fan of first person games, I can play some of them if I find the multiplayer fun, but for single player games I just can't get hooked on them, I skipped RE7 and I'm going to skip RE8 for that reason, even thought I really like the Resident Evil series.Yeah,
But dishonored,prey, evil within, doom.
Those are good games.
