OiBo_Hazem NO! I love me some turn based. Better than trying to control 4 characters effectively in real-time

Laggy reflexes, I guess.

"Oi" you said, so you are from UK?

What does that have to do with it? I get that if you want to compare everything of the XSS and PS5, then price is also part of it, but this was about the resolution of 1 game. I don't see how the price here is relevant, while the power of the GPU is.With a price difference of only 100 dollars.
Lol, except ps4 and ps4 pro crash to the xmb regularly for me too! I guess there's no videogame ass videogame consoles left besides withe Switch amirite?
Im merely pointing out that for an extra 100 dollars you get 2.5 times the power. Incase you forgot. What does that have to do with it? At this point I really hope he is getting paid for this level of damage controlling, otherwise its just plain embarrassing
Im sure his next tweet will be about how much he hates Burger King anyway
Not for $299 like the Series S either.
It's amazing that people here think that the Series S is made for people with 4K TVs.
I mean, I believe you need to be an eagle to have better vision than I have.
*900p - 1080p.Nope, it's made for 1080p TV's and MS even markets it for 1440p...
I have had a lot of crash on Ps4 though but I found out why a simple faulty external HDD.Really?
Thinking back over PS2, 3, 4 and 4 pro I think I can count the number of crashes - whether of games or the whole system - on one hand.
In fact, I'm gonna say I've had about 3 such crash incidents in about 15 years of gaming on those consoles.
Maybe you are tough on your equipment....
I have had a lot of crash on Ps4 though but I found out why a simple faulty external HDD.
Because, and that might surprise even the most tech knowledgeable people here (geordiemp try to follow I know it will be hard for you even with all that knowledge), when you unplug an external Hdd while playing a game stored on it the game crashes.
So I'm not the most knowledgeable people here but I guess not being able to access gamedata might be the reason.
Thank y'all for coming to my TEDTalk and see you next week for another one.
Ok, overstated for effect but
Lol, except ps4 and ps4 pro crash to the xmb regularly for me too! I guess there's no videogame ass videogame consoles left besides withe Switch amirite?
You've seen how deeply technical my tedtalks can be.hehe.
But yeah I can see that a hardware fault - even back in the days of ps2 a scratched or dirty disk would cause problems.
That's what I mean by hard on the equipment - can't really blame the console for that.
Although the guy who posted that then confessed he misrepresented the information in order to try and make a pint about how people shouldn't misrepresent the information LOL.
Perhaps your next TEDtalk can be the psychology of cognitive dissonance during console launches.
Laggy reflexes, I guess.Nothing beats the joy of fighting through chaos in GOW at "Give me God of War" difficulty! So reliant on reflex speed!
"Oi" you said, so you are from UK?Just don't be another Liverpool supporter.
Why would sega be providing anyone with PS5 footage? The game doesnt come out on PS5 until march next year
Did we already know the startup sound?
$100 is a lot of money to a lot of the console buying population.
No shit, one is 10TF console, the other 4TF... No one ever expected the Xbox Series S to keep up with the PS5
We did in PS5's June Future Games Show eventDid we already know the startup sound?
Did we already know the startup sound?
When the PS5 and XSX version is 1440p?No one expected that XSS will have a 900p title that early.
If I was to compare this image of Driveclub to Dirt 5...would It be unfair

Imagine being that casual boy that stock with 720p-900p with XO FAT to continue with 900p for another 7 years with the hard-to-beat bargain that's known as Xbox Series S, S stands for "Suffering".
Might try this for starters. Maybe keep controller white, not sure.

4 years at most but yeah, think you will just have a new shorter cycle now.In 5 years the S will be phased out for the X at 299 USD and the X pro will be the new king with 8k/60 fps.
It's aimed at 1080p tv owners or people that just want to play next gen games at a almost mass market price. Not hard to understand. So it's aimed at 1440P/30fps Tv owners or people that don't want to fully enjoy their 1080p TVs ?Sure that seems like a good market, I guess?
Somewhat funny, that many same people worked on Dirt5, Codemaster Chechire are basically Evolution studio. Well Rushy is not with them, at least. So yeah...If I was to compare this image of Driveclub to Dirt 5...would It be unfair

Stay in your bubble, XboX Series X got the whole package, even the loading crown.![]()
Wait what happen to 15 seconds.... sorry am at work can only glance, this legit or a joke?

There are no 1440p TVs. 1440p will supersample down on a 1080p tv for an even better picture. Since 4K tv ownership is like 2% of the market, where even on this forum it's the vast majority, a cheap 1080p console is a great idea.

It's legit, a clip from a live stream of the game and every race he loaded was a few seconds just like that.
The 15 seconds thing was FUD.

I would say 60fps is crucial for sim/simcade games, 30fps for rather arcade Driveclub wasn't that bad and graphic during rain is still topnotchI think Dirt 5 is much more impressive, since its 120FPS, also looks amazing:
![]()
Driveclub had a very low 30fps count. For a RACING GAME speed/ FPS is crucial. 120fps vs 30fps is a HUGE difference.
I saw a video and timed it, will find it later, it was a legit video...

15 seconds mentioned again.
Whats going on....
It's just different game modes if you go watch a few vids.
That mode in the clip is a one car closed gymkhana arena.
The longer loading times are for loading the full tracks and opponents.
4K TVs are way more than 2% market share lol, and plenty of 4K TVs also support 1440p resolution natively. It's aimed at 1080p tv owners or people that just want to play next gen games at a almost mass market price. Not hard to understand.

I think most multi games will look basically the same in both consoles. Maybe with a tiny fps difference in some game, maybe a tiny resolution difference in games with dynamic resolution, maybe some additional few rays for RT, maybe a slight difference in shadows... something very subtle, smaller differences that the ones we saw in the curent gen both base PS4 vs XBO and Pro vs XB1X.Like a Dragon will be exactly the same on PS5 as XsX.
I think it's more realistic to expect 1080p/60fps, because most tvs support that and Series S has a third of the Series X GPU horsepower and less RAM. And well, there almost no 1440p in the market, which is full of 1080p tvs.So it's aimed at 1440P/30fps Tv owners or people that don't want to fully enjoy their 1080p TVs ?Sure that seems like a good market, I guess?
Eh not really for car enthusiasts like myself. Driveclub has better weather effects but that useless to me for racing, I care more about the car models, interiors, etc. GT's are better. But I can see why casuals/arcade fans liked DC, cuz it was silly and unrealistic but fun and pretty. In all honesty, Driveclub would put to shame GT Sport as it is, graphics-wise.
Ahh ok. Just seen what it was and it was loading the 4k image quality mode on the 15 seconds video with loads of cars and a big track.
So as well as different games modes is it possibly also on lower res modes that load much lower assets for the higher framerates?
Wait, what? Show me.Ok.....?
It's a low precision RT implementation. We can all see it - trees that are reflected are missing half their geometry or more. They're lower LOD models. You can see reflections of things like cars that you shouldn't be able to see because they are obscured by trees, but in the reflections the tree branches and leaves aren't there lol.
