I pay £10/month and get 250 UK minutes, Unlimited UK texts, 1GB internet and Free to giffgaff. Pay as you go is wikid.
I can upgrade my contract in August, I am with T-Mobile and I see they are now doing a sim only contract for £21 per month, unlimited calls, text and internet. Sounds like a good one to me.
I honestly don't need more than 1GB of data since most of the time I'm either at home, uni or around uni and there's always WiFi connections everywhere. 1GB data is enough for browsing/tweeting/general stuff, video streaming eats it up though.
Yeah that's a great deal if you don't use a lot of data. I've heard really good things about giffgaff.
I upgraded to my Nexus 4 up from a Nexus S a couple of months ago, loving it so far.
Although moving from the bright vibrant colours of the Nexus S screen to the kinda washed out looking Nexus 4 is still a bit disappointing.
At least you are looking at correct colours and don't have to worry about burn in Can't wait to upgrade from my GNexus for those very reasons!

If you ever root, install Franco Kernel and use the Suggested Color settings in the Franco Kernel app.
It makes such a huge difference, it's the only reason I keep Franco Kernel installed (didn't notice much, if any, of a difference from stock as far as performance goes).

Can vouch for this too. The colour settings are much better, nowhere near as washed out.
My second N4 drop from 4 feet. Thanks to my $1.70 eBay case there wasn't a single scratch or crack even when bouncing 3 times on the corners on concrete.
I accidentally left my phone on charge all night, does this mess the battery up?
That's how I charge all of the phones I've had most of the time.I accidentally left my phone on charge all night, does this mess the battery up?
The FUD around Batteries is never ending.I accidentally left my phone on charge all night, does this mess the battery up?
All Things DFurther confusion often comes in for longtime gadget owners who can remember the days of nickel cadmium (NiCad) batteries, which had a so-called memory effect, requiring users to fully discharge the battery each time in order to keep getting maximum battery life.
Newer batteries, which use lithium-ion and other compounds, dont have this issue. However, they do have a limited lifespan and lose capacity over time.
Yankee Group analyst Carl Howe said battery charging has become a complex art and science.
Whats really subtle is that consumers think they understand that 100% means full, Howe said. That might have been the case with older batteries, but todays batteries have microprocessors managing their charging. So 100% is whatever that microprocessor says it is its not any absolute measurement of ion concentration or anything.
Howe says consumers are probably best off just leaving it to the device to handle things.
We dont have to understand their engineering to use them, Howe said. However, we shouldnt apply our prejudices formed (both good and bad) from older generations of battery technology to todays systems either. If it says its charged, consumers should assume it is, and not worry about whether the charger is drawing current.
So there you have it more than you ever wanted to know about battery life. Now if only someone would just hurry up with batteries that last longer.
No matter how long I leave it my phone refuses to charge past the 70% mark. I've got nothing extra installed but a handful of apps and I even close 'em down to get it to charge but nada. What do I do?
What happened to the first one?I bought the Ringke Fusion and am very happy with it.
I've just ordered this phone from Amazon. Can't wait to get my hands on it!
Tell me you're joking. You can get it much cheaper directly from Google Play Store.

Can anyone suggest a good case? Bumpers are fine too. I wouldn't mind something red.
My Ringke Fusion just arrived. Let's see if it is as good as you guys say!

Actually thinking about getting the Ringke Slim. I can't stand cases that make a phone look bulky. The Ringke Slim seems like just what I was looking for

I'd say the Ringke Slim is well worth it. It looks good, doesn't add bulk and offers some protection. I dropped my phone down two flights of concrete stairs and it was completely fine!
Protection wise it's great but the buttons feel awful.
dropped my phone and cracked the screen last weekend. touchscreen is completely unresponsive. =/
DIY replacement screens on ebay run about $130. anyone have experience with these?
right now i'm using an xperia mini but i'll see what this motorola xphone is all about. otherwise, i'll just wait until november for the nexus 4 successor.
Feeling quite fortunate right now. I dropped my Nexus 4 last week. I was using it in bed. Guess I fell asleep and it fell off my bed overnight. Luckily there's only a small crack in the bottom left corner on the back of the phone. Probably the best place a crack can happen. Away from the camera and the speaker. Front of the phone is completely fine. It's also now in a case. Prefer the phone without a case, but I can't take any more chances. So dropped my nexus 4 whilst standing, landed completely flush with the ground on its back. The entire front screen shattered.
So I took it to Carphone warehouse two days back. They provide a generic quote of 180. Once I pointed out the screen was cracked and the touchscreen was unresponsive I mentioned the quote is most likely incorrect.0 (reddit post on nexus4 subeddit pointed this out a while back)
So the geek squad guy typed in all the details and I was charged 79.99 to replace the screen/digitiser. It is currently sitting in the central repair station. Its been 2 days. If you live in the UK this is probably the best deal you will get for repairing a cracked screen.
What did I learn? buy a fucking cover for my phone. I am using a nexus s and its killing me.

I've had mine for a week now and I'm not exactly sure what everyone's grievances with the buttons are. In fact, the buttons are probably more sensitive now that I have the case. Unless that's the problem people have with it?
I'm pretty sure the buttons have been recently fixed with a new revision of the case. I bought the case about a week ago also and the buttons feel perfect.I've had mine for a week now and I'm not exactly sure what everyone's grievances with the buttons are. I think the negative feedback stems from the buttons not having any feel or feedback. It just feels like pressing hard plastic. If the Fusion had the official bumpers buttons it would be the definitive case.
Yeah, that's not what mine feels like. The buttons give a lot of leeway and feel very responsive. If I press it, I know I pressed it and my phone responds appropriately - there's no ambiguity there. As the above poster suggested, I think I got one of the newer revised cases.
Wow... I just tested my Ringke Fusion.
I'm pretty sure I received the new revision. No problems at all... absolutely at all, with the buttons. In fact, they are clicky. Looks awesome too.
