Once he learns to fall forward properly, many rushing titles shall follow.
(Pre-emptive "yes it's only camp/scrimmage" comment but...)

Starks is constantly impressing the press and the coaches whereas Grant is struggling/coming off as flat (even against the #2s in a scrimmage).

Young blood > RB equivalent of 2010 Al Harris.

Maybe it's my anti-Grant/rich guy bias.

Deion Sanders was awesome. Still cant forget when it came to tackling: "Sometimes you have to make a business decision."

You know, I never cared much for preseason football in the past. But I am so ready and pumped for this Thursday.

Seems like RB's expiration dates are sooner and sooner. With the higher emphasis on passing these days, it's only natural.

He's earning in 1 year what James Jones is earning in almost 2 and Brandon Jackson is in 3 (I think).
DAT ENTITLEMENT MONEY.

He better play well.

What the...? Who cares about RBs? Everyone knows QBs are the only important position.

Pffft. We all know the true super humans play OLB.
And have roles in blockbuster Batman movies.

I also loled (jakncoke'd?) at the people who were explaining to you how NFL GAF worked

He should unleash his black to white skills. Lord knows its been a while since his last attempt. We need the sequel. The people demand a sequel lmao.

Just heard on Sportscenter that DJAX will report to camp on Monday!

HOLY SHIT@ Prince getting hurt and HOLY HELL @ TO signing with the Colts if true!

He was never going to not report. Players are screwed under this CBA as far as holding out

Still nice to hear he is coming to camp. With Maclin still not in action it should be nice for the offense to get one of its stars into action.

too much optimism in this years thread. too many new bloods

we'll just have to run up the score on everyone again to get things back to normal

I'm still waiting for Titans to pay CJ. ;grumble ;grumble

And to add to Titans troubles, Innegan is trying to get an extension on his contract, he is entering his final year and is trying to to say he is somehow worth more than 4 mil a year, he ain't. I really don't care for the dude but the alternative is who? He can cover all the mediocre wr's easily but the second somebody like Andre, reggie wayne, or roddy steps onto the field, he shrinks like a raisin. :/

What's NFL-GAF's opinion on the Sproles acquisition in NO? Is he really going to be just as versatile a feature back as Bush? If so what the hell has he been up to the last 6 years?

He has been one of the better returners and always filled in well for Tomilson or any other back for the Chargers. Good pick up in addition to Ingraham.

more or less the same back as reggie bush only he can stay healthy. talent wise i think they are similar, with bush being a much better receiver and sproles having better vision. still, if sproles can stay healthy he is already better for the saints than bush.

in niner related news, i wonder who our designated #1 WR is going to be. i sure as fuck hope its braylon because crabtree is again going to skip out on all of the pre-season. we all saw what happened last year when he did that. seemed like he didn't really get up to speed until about week 4 of the regular season. i'd rather roll with bray/morgan/whoever our 3rd will be to start and gradually work him in. of course if braylon is suspended to start the season that will complicate matters but luckily we're playing the lowly seachickens and cowpies to start. 2 easy wins.... and i'll be at the cowboys game in frisco! suck it down losers niners have never lost a home game i attended*

*except against the seachickens in 2007.... when alex got crushed by bitch ass rocky bernard :(

I heard today that the Eagles told him not to report unless he is willing to practice.

He might "pull a hammy" and milk it for all its worth, i wouldnt really care. im positive he is in good enough shape to get by with minimal practice and preseason. less risk to injury too. he'll be going 100% by week 1 regardless, thats all that matters to me

Yeah don't want him getting hurt.

And FMT I am pretty sure even Banner isn't dumb enough to not extend him/get him paid.

djax needs to come home to norcal. come home djax! eagles can have taylor mays in exchange.... both were 2nd round picks so the value is equal
