Foster holding out?

I love that the shortened off-season has people like Carolina and San Francisco fans thinking their teams will win more that 4 games
combined
The only bet people should be making on Scam is if he will throw more touchdowns to his team or to the opposition.

The optimism is hi-larious. Seems only Bears fans know just how truly terrible their teams will be.

Really sucks that Jolly decided to go sippin and leanin. He was a real force against the run.
Indeed he was.

But I suppose if the "bend don't break" pass coverage thing persists it doesn't matter much.

How does the NFL determine bye weeks? I feel like the bears have had a late bye week for pretty much every season I can remember, with maybe a couple exceptions. Not that I mind but why doesn't the NFL rotate the bye weeks?

Try Week 10 with 15 guys on IR.

I would also like to know

I dont know if "bend don't break" does our defense justice (mostly because it makes me think of our previous fucking joke of a DC), but I understand your point. Teams were able to get down the field on us but couldnt get in the end zone. But philosophically we are definitely pressure based, although sometimes Capers does get conservative and plays soft to close games out or as a result of pressures not working

Panthers go at least 6-10 or I'll let Dirtbag/DM/storybook or any other dirty Saints/Bucs/Falcons fan make a humiliating avatar for me to wear next offseason!

You heard it here first!

Small defensive quibbles aside more than anything the offense needs to get their shit together.
Tired of Tramon and Nick Collins bailing out McCarthy's terrible playcalling.

He needs to rip the "Bone Formation" pages out of his playbook or I'll stab him in the eye with an icepick.

Having a run threat and HOFinley back will probably help though.
So many games last season were close that had no business being close.

(Seriously though Brandon Jackson was terrible at running, SMH).

Ho ho! I just roped you in like Cam juked out CJ.

How did Prince break his foot?

MikeGarafolo Mike Garafolo
WR Duke Calhoun stepped on CB Prince Amukamara's foot. That's how he broke the bone
Off with his head. Calhoun was fucking useless last year. His only use this year is apparently to break the foot of our first rounder.

WTF, does Prince have glass feet?

What was the circumstance? He could have been coming down off of a jump to defend a ball and had a cleat driven right down on it. Bad luck situation but I can imagine that hurting like hell.

Someone can photoshop a burger in there for the SS Freeman. I don't even care if the math says its impossible. First 5 win Super Bowl champion in NFL history.

Go Bucs!

Here's the question. If Cam sucks as much as Clausen did, and the Panthers get the first pick in the draft, do they pick Luck? Just keep hitting that QB slot machine, fellas...

No way they do, even with cap friendly rookie contracts. They simply can't give up that fast on cam. Also there is no guarantee Andrew Luck is going to be good in the NFL like the internet seems to think he will.

They did on Jimmy...

Year long avatar bet that the niners win more than 4 games?

Mike Garafolo on Sash
"I don’t want to get ahead of myself on Sash, but I will say the Giants have to be pleased with what they’ve seen from him so far. For a team that loves to draft athletes, I think they picked themselves a couple of pure football players in him and LB Greg Jones with two of their three sixth-round picks. You can see Sash’s solid football instincts already, like when he came up to contain a sweep to his side of the field."

I think it was you that I laughed at last year when you drafted Foster in the third round. Yay for ignorance!

Have you missed my posts? NFC West champ will finish 6-10, and it's not going to be the Niners.

Is there one of those weird bets when only Bowser can lose?

Hm, you're right, I forgot to say what happens if I win!

Since DCX was first, it'll be between he and I. If I win, DCX gets to rock a sexy avatar of the entertainer, the icon, Cam Newton.

I know, it's not even punishment, is it? I'm too generous.

Hopefully they wear them Week 2 when they shit all over the Panthers.

On the contrary, the Panthers would have to forfeit after due to excessive vomiting from having to look at the "color scheme" for more than five minutes.

I have come to terms that the Seahawks are rebuilding. I honestly feel they have made some really positive steps. I think that once the o-line gets some experience that could turn out to be a great unit, but I know they have so many holes yet to fill and the qb position currently does nothing to comfort me long or short term.

I have high hopes Carroll and Schneider can continue to grow the team's talent level and eventually compete for the title, but have no illusions regarding this season.

notsureifserious.gif They just signed Plax and D Mason...

I think Sanchez will take a step forward also. That being said they signed Mason, lost Cotchery. Signed Plax, lost Edwards. I don't really think either of those are an upgrade in the point in their careers.
