Then do it, don't bitch and moan like the Giants did when a team doesn't quit playing.
Holy shit your defense hadn't already quit in the fourth quarter?!

Ours wasn't any better:(

Tough loss for the Skins.

levious

That throwing stick stunt of yours has boomeranged on us.
Unfortunately I'll still see Orakpo all season during Geico commercials....

holy shit, I was convinced those were local/regional here in DC. Easterns Motors did better commercials with redskins.

They are definitely competitive.

Oh, they definitely slowed their roll big time. I feel that RGIII put his players in positions to succeed but they came up short at times. My apologies if that came off as if the Rams didn't have an answer for RGIII... I guess I was more-so saying that he was still able to lead his team, keep them competitive and give them a chance. Without him, it would have been a blowout.

The missed call for the hit against Fred Davis didn't help things either.

No worries. I don't take it personally if you are ripping the team. I just think sometimes national writers get selective memory after a game. I kept reading about the Morgan "losing" the game. It still was a long FG w/ a known choker kicker, it would only have tied the game, and it wouldn't have even happened had Richardson not fumbled.

I said at the draft that I loved RG3's skills but didn't think he would ever survive with his style, and I still believe that. He's not Cam or Big Ben where he can just shake of hits by DBs. They are really going to need to score with those two injuries, and I don't trust Shanny to dial back the runs. He's coaching for his job.

Also explains why the Skins couldn't exploit the Rams OL issues, and why Haslett had to play so much soft zone. The DBs for WAS are shaky and they needed that pass rush to help them. w/o pass rush couldn't put them on islands, even against the Rams. Really just brutal injuries

I refuse to read any Barnwell article anymore, such a terrible writer. Doesn't help he has some kind of unhealthy hate for the cardinals.

He still hates your team:

So, the Cardinals — a team I thought had a very good shot at being the worst team in football — have started 2-0. (In my defense, the seven other teams on my worst-in-football list are a combined 2-12.) Are they going to be a serious contender in the NFC West? I don't think so. They've now won two games in harrowing circumstances at the buzzer, after they stopped the Seahawks from scoring despite giving them first-and-goal from the 6-yard line with 38 seconds left in a four-point game last week. They could be some sort of cardiac kids, but it's far more plausible that they're something like last year's Bills, who had two incredibly narrow wins against the Raiders and Patriots as part of a 3-0 start before losing 10 of their next 13 games.

Rewatching the game on Rewind (no coaches film yet).

Black Unicorn/Marty B would be amazing if he could catch the ball. He made some good catches at the end of the game (the TD grab in particular) but he would have been well over 100 yards and at least 2 TD's had he bothered to concentrate enough early on.

*sigh* Our very own HOFinley.

The game against the Bills went pretty much as I expected.

My greatest fear in moving Crennel from interim to head coach was a decline in defensive performance with the added responsibility of head coaching duties, but I didn't expect it to be this bad.

Last year, Crennel started off the season dropping Justin Houston into coverage and playing a lot of off coverage and zone. Of course, this defense got picked apart. It wasn't until around midseason that he started bringing pressure and playing man, and surprise, the defense looked exponentially better. For whatever reason, he has the defense playing off again, not disguising blitzes, and now they're completely undisciplined. Derrick Johnson looks lost, and Berry has yet to make a play.

Offensively, the run game looks like shit because the o-line isn't getting any push, and the passing game is Cassel'd.

Peter Principle as head coach, a steaming pile at quarterback and a GM that put it all together. I'd love to think that Clark Hunt will clean house, but he can't even bother to be in town half of the time.

Drown my franchise in piss.

I've got a question about Game Rewind, specifically the iPad app and was wondering if you could help. Do you know if the app supports Air Play Mirroring through the Apple TV? Thinking about subscribing to it, but it's less desirable if it doesn't support the mirroring feature.

Anyone who's ever gotten Staff from New England ended up not winning jack. Guess they couldn't take their video equipment with them.

It does not, no. One of the biggest complaints about it on the App Store actually. LJ covered some of this earlier in the thread but it's still a great app. Easy to get to what you want and the telestrator stuff is neat.

Ugh, that sucks. The Preseason Live app supported it, why not Game Rewind? *grumbles*

Man, that first Niners drive. I usually only keep one bucket by me during the games to fill with cum but after that first drive I knew I was going to need a second bucket

If we can beat the Giants on Thursday night, we'll be above .500 at some point in the season for the first time since THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION

Reading Grantland for sports news is ridiculous. The best thing about that site is Jay Kang and pop culture stuff. He did a Kwame Brown article last season that was a very good read.

So some Sconi went Pocahontas for Ball?

Three University of Wisconsin students have been charged in attack on Badgers' running back Montee Ball.

Wendell Venerable, Robert Wilks and Deonte Wilson appeared in Dane County Circuit Court on Monday where a judge continued their signature bonds. A criminal complaint says Ball was kicked and punched Aug. 1 as he walked in Madison. The complaint says a friend interrupted the attack when she threw herself over Ball on the ground.

Prosecutors say witnesses identified the three men, all 21, by looking at surveillance video from a nearby apartment building. WKOW-TV reports witnesses told investigators they heard the attackers say they planned to target football players in retaliation for a previous fight at a party when one of them was hurt.
