There was a time I would have been angry reading this post but I ended up putting some money into getting an actual solid PC and well...I now realize who the master race really is. :(

All those years of consoles, I refused to accept the truth.

One of us! One of us!

I wish my Sony TV wasn't so awful that it made both the HDMI and VGA inputs look terrible. Trying to read anything when a PC is plugged into my TV gives me eye cancer.

edit: I thought foodies were just people who appreciated a good meal? Like those guys who know where to find the best place to get a burger, etc.

Do foodies spend all their time explaining that they arent creepers and dodging the members of their clique that keep animated porn of the food they eat?

This post confuses me. It seems like you are referring to hardcore gamers as being the ultra dedicated who buy to enjoy a specific game. AKA the traditional definition.

If so, Nintendo never lost them. Who they DID lose were the type that buy popular titles at a large clip.

Well Nintendo wants the type who buy a ton of games. I agree that just having decent versions of COD and third party games will help, but I was saying that Bayonetta is obviously not helping there.

Everybody loves food though. Even if you are a snob you can have a conversation about why you love fried chicken. You cannot have a conversation with a random person about why you dress up as a Pony a few times a year.

But the the thing about bronies is they know they are doing something wrong and would never cop to it in real life. Smug foodies had sleeper agents in all segments of society and have now activated them to be condescending bastards about anything you eat unless you bought your lunch from an authentic and unlicensed Kyrgyzstan goat wrap truck

A foodie as wikipedia defines it, would comprise probably 95% of all NFL fans. What football fans do you guys know of that don't care about grilling meat and stuff like that?

I'm beginning to think you guys are just talking about obnoxious people not necessarily foodies as a whole.

I don't care much about whether a restaurant has a michellin star or how much it costs but it does bother me if someone doesn't like seafood. I can appreciate a burrito with flaming hot fritos in it but I have a problem with you if mushrooms gross you out.

Preheat and get the flames going. Drop - Turn - Flip - Turn done. Rest for three minutes.
Medium rare at most or why bother.

Speaking of PC's you know I'm in the market for a $300 dollar video card. But man, I still can't get myself to trust a Radeon card even though it's more bang for your buck. Imma go with a Galaxy 660 Ti. I have to get it at best buy though since thats where I got a card.

But another thing im noticing is how overlapping and controlled the video market is. You never see any super deals on video cards until their old and hella busted.

Bust out another 100 and you can get a 670 and you'll be set.

I prefer a medium or medium rare but I don't mind a more done steak if there is a lot of fat content. A leaner steak has to be more rare, though.

To me it goes Bronies<wresting fans<vegetarians

EDIT: forgot to put True Blood fans in there, they are just above wrestling fans.

I hate these stupid NFL Network games. The only way I can get NFL Network is if I pay Charter an extra $30 a month to get NFL Network and 20 million other worthless channels that I'll never watch. Forget that.

I like my burgers well and my steaks medium well.

I also like to stuff cheese into my burger patties before grilling them. Brats are probably still my overall favorite gameday food though.

I'm always glad I had great friends who taught me a well done steak is disgusting.

You have to put cheese in the burger because of how disgustingly dry that shit is. The new hotness is ultra rare burgers. Like steak tartar red.

I accidentally cut up brats and put them into spaghetti sauce once. I thought they were italian sausages...

The result wasn't terrible, though.

LOL no, I was making a jokingly foodie remark. Since we were discussing foodies.

Ah. I once had a free meal at a Morton's steak house. It was good steak but diminishing returns I guess. I'd rather go to like a texas roadhouse 3 times I think. Maybe I would have appreciated the Morton's steak more if I had paid for it.

Boiled beer brats and sauerkraut is amazing...

On sunday I actually was snacking on cocktail onions during the game. I've never had them before but I love them.

Brats are badass cooked in beer though. Can't hate on that and sauerkraut is amazing. I went to hot dog place in Tahoe that made indian hotdogs...like hotdogs wrapped in naan. I wonder how kim chee would be on a dog.

All this food talk makes me realize I don't have a special dish that I eat during games on Sunday...what the eff have I been doing?

Boiled in beer before grilling! Top with sauerkraut!

I love sauerkraut. I put it on all kinds of things. I really love it on potatoes though.

I typically slow cook chicken with a bbq type sauce in the crockpot on football Sundays. Mid-afternoon it is so tender it's perfect.

I've had some pretty awesome vegetarian meals. Its not all cold salad.

You can make some tasty and filling stuff veggie stuff on the grill. If I had to I could live as a vegetarian pretty easily, I just enjoy meat because it adds a lot to your options.

Also I might be crazy but I think the Broncos are going to lose to Atlanta this week.

Nothing crazy about that thought. Not crazy at all.

$350 for a decent WiiU. Bah. I guess that purchase will have to be pushed till Xmas time.

FWIW, I got the Bears winning tonight.
