Everyone's team/players gets shit on equally. Petty socialism up in this piece!

:jnc

I will certainly admit that pretty much every team has gotten shit on here. I wouldnt say equally, but I guess it ebbs and flows depending on if a team is good or bad at the time.

I can't wait for the Mallett/McDaniels era to start. Were we will win multiple Super Bowls so you can hate us even more.
I picture something more akin to what the Dolphins have gone through since Marino retired. Mallett will probably just be the first of many underwhelming QBs that pass through NE after the Brady-era has come to a close. It's all just speculation though, I don't know anything about Mallett and it's certainly possible that NE strikes gold again with another QB sometime in the near future.

It sucks so bad that the O's chocked the series away. I feel really bad for all O's fans.

I'd rather we have just gotten smoked. Blowing these games in the 9th is a gut shot every time. We've led or been tied going into the 9th every game.

Anyway, Flacco sucks, Go Ravens, I'm sad, yadda yadda yadda

Being Team Houston I should really root for a Ravens loss this Sunday. It helps our agenda. But against the Cowboys, No way. You have to crush the Romo.
Do it.

edit: So the Ravens are the only team Cowboys have never beat.

No offense but when your team goes 29-9 in one run games and has like fifty guys playing above their talent level you should be thankful your team got there. I think it's appropriate that a team that had Chris Davis hit 30+ homers gets defeated by Raul Ibanez hitting two homers filling in for Alex Rodriguez.

I'm confused... are there sports other than football or something?

Went to Bourbon street once for Mardigras. Yup, won't be doing that again. Almost got trampled to death. Just straight up anarchy.

Bradshaw always had a penchant for rambling and did need some coddling back in his days, but good for him for calling out Brees. Fuck that new record, Brees couldn't polish Unitas' shoes. As for Terry, he wasn't the greatest to play the game. But he was the best for that team at that time. Terry put it best back then, "You might lose with me, but you'll never win without me." And it took them 22 years to replace him.

You must have hated Death Proof.:jnc The movie is quite literally nothing but a string of those scenes in between fantastic car mayhem.

I'm with Sanjuro on this one - definitely the best scenes. Love his dialogue and can watch it without ever getting bored.

Jackie Brown is still his best movie, IMO.

You know what I hated about Death Proof?

The girls leaving their young, beautiful friend (in a cheerleader outfit!) with the seedy guy as collateral, without a second thought. ugonnagetraped.jpg

But seriously the first 45 minutes of the film are completely worthless.

A chimpanzee could have won with those Steeler teams. Bradshaw had some bad numbers even factoring in the era.

Jackie Brown is great. Death Proof has some really awesome scenes but overall I felt like a ton of the dialog was really forced and felt almost formulaic for him. I'm hoping Django is more Inglorious than Death Proof.

James Laurinitius lost half a sack from last weeks game, so in my fantasy league where I lost by 1, I win by 1, but we've never applied stat changes before. I'm commissioner, how can I finesse this without it look like I'm cheating?

Depends on the league system. Yahoo, ESPN and NFL.com should all just automatically adjust the scoring (and the standings) without even notifying anybody. ESPN also has a stat corrections page you can point to.

31st in the league if memory serves.

Last time I started him he gave me 4 points. The week before he posted 25 and the week after 19. My QB situation is so dire. Oh why oh did I think this was the year Fitzpatrick was going to be come a really good QB?

Now I have to rotate these two guys. Ponder it is this week.

Ponder just isnt geared for those deep passes.

We're winning because of a strong run game and short passes to Percy. It all comes down to if he decides that he wants to force the ball to Rudolph in the endzone.
