I'm surprised the Patriots are a 9.5 point favorite over the Bills on the road. I think it'll be closer than that, assuming Manuel is fully healthy. I don't expect a big game from Stevie Johnson against Talib, but Manuel should be able to spread the ball around and get some deep shots to Goodwin and Graham. If they can get Spiller the ball in space against the linebackers, he'll be a threat to score every time he gets a touch.

Maybe you should shut your fucking face! If you're team wasn't so god fucking awful, maybe you could do something about the inbound Broncos Super Bowl! Now it's up to us to stop them.

Maybe you should take your stupid drunk face somewhere else? Preferably downtown Baltimore in the middle of the night.

Now if you don't shut up, I will crush you with my wallet, you little fly.

Spiller can run laps on the Pats LB. Slower than molasses.

The Ravens should have faked more injuries. First game, so most guys aren't in shape to play a full 60 minutes, then add in Peyton running uptempo all game and the high altitude. I don't think Baltimore is quite as bad as they showed, but they're still going to go 8-8 this year.

8-8 is enough to win our division. PLAYOFFS!!

I'm interested in just how completely fucking ordinary Joe Flacco is going to be. For the second most money of any QB, we're getting a middle of the road QB.
I KNEW IT!!!!!!!!!!!

It's the like if the Cardinals (baseball) gave David Eckstein 200 million after he was WS MVP in 2006.

It's -10.5 on Sportsbook. I thought Denver -7.5 was high vs the Ravens and they ended up destroying them. I don't think the Pats will have any trouble with the Bills. They will win by 2 TDs minimum.

You don't need me to tell you that saying you're a Cowboys fan is essentially shorthand for "I'm a bandwagon-jumping douchebag!" Like the Lakers and Yankees in their respective sports, the Cowboys serve as a kind of national magnet for shameless non-fans looking for a cheap sports thrill. They are the #1 favorite NFL team of empty-headed celebrities and NBA players who are far too shallow to pick any favorite team other than the most-covered, most winning, most obvious team possible (Get fucked, LeBron). They are the people happily waiting three hours in line at the nightclub just to be seen at the nightclub.

This literally applies to 90% of all Cowboys fans that I have ever met.

I think BAL's defense could just be like the Texans defense where they can't handle to good offenses. We'll see how they do vs CLE. If they get lit up there then it will be trouble. Flacco will never be a volume passer. If they can't figure out the run game they will have trouble.

Let that hate pour in. Fine by me. Defense played well enough minus two playmakers, they absolutely shut down Ray Rice. Offense played great minus a run game. Both of those issues will be solved around the same point in time.

Peyton's arm looked fine. We have gone over this ad infinitum, the balls he are throwing are better than they were last year at the same time. First half with the glove was a bit shaky, but when it came off in the second half the touch and zip was improved. The ball to Caldwell for the TD was a beautiful pass, seeing that ball affirms the feeling that he'll be just fine.

Godslay, Hunter & Co, please remember that I'm a
self-proclaimed
good guy, because I'll probably say some really hateful shit this season.

We can be friends again in February.

So you are saying no one is going to stop them.

We all know your punk ass team with their stupid gimmicky offense sure as hell isn't gonna do shit about it. Maybe throw some batteries at him, light his car on fire or whatever you fucking barbaric assholes do in Philly, but football wise you can't do nothing.

We had the Broncos D their number the last 2 years, we probably can't stop their O, but Brady will give us his all to outscore them. Winning 45-44 is still winning.

Eagles are gonna get beat by 40 when they play the Broncos this year. Pats offense is going to miss Wes and thug life, I really do think they take a step back this year.

2nd half Denver dialed it in on both sides.

Baltimore offensive stats in the 2nd half were garbage time stats.

Trevathan should have had his TD too.

DEN seemed out of sync in the 1st and came together exactly like I expected in the 2nd.

Bailey plays next game.
Miller back in a few.
And I'm looking forward to CJ to run the ball soon as well.

Soaking this shit up in this glorious Mile High sunshine today. Vengeance actually is very nice.

Agreed. Special teams played well outside of the muffed punt. Bruton worth every penny.

Super excited for CJ as well. I think we might end up with Ball and CJ being the guys later in the season when they pick things up.

Hail to the KING baby
I thought for sure this would be his return year what with the Lionheart returning to the headlines.

Just waiting for the Cardinals to make the Super Bowl again before jumping back in.

Leinart, it's pathetic how he's been treated. Almost like a Sanchez situation where the guy never got a fair shake in the NFL despite the talent.

:jnc, only just saw the hilarious NFL season intro.

Good stuff.

It was so awkward. Ryan and football do not mix.
They brought the color guard out and then stopped the game for lightning. Color guard stood at midfield the entire time. That was pretty cool.

I didn't see any lightning btw. North and south skies were only partly cloudy. To the east was a gray cloud, but no lightning. Couldn't see any clouds to the west though..

Pats scoring 45? I think those days are over. No Welker, no killa, a damaged gronk whenever he's back.

I just don't see it.

Not saying they'll never hit 45, just that it won't happen against a legit contender with depth in the secondary.

Do people really think Amendola will do for New England what Welker did? Serious question - I haven't watched Amendola play. Being bigger and faster than Welker doesn't guarantee you have a better version of Welker.
