Lets see how the rest of the season pans out. Foles has far exceeded any expectations I had for him but there are still 4 games left. A playoff push and some big pressure packed moments. So far most teams he has faced have had horrible Ds and the one true big match up we would have had against the Packers offense turned out to be a dud since Rodgers was out.

Arizona's D forced him into some terrible decisions even if he didn't throw picks. Still a good performance. 3 TDs and a win. But there is something about their 2nd half performances that they as a team need to work on. If Foles plays just as well to finish off the season then yes no drafting a QB until maybe the super late rounds.

Eric Decker is a physical, tall WR. He's 6'3" 215 compared to Avant at 6'0" 212. He's also much, much faster. If we can get Maclin cheap as well, then I'd be fine with that. I don't want to have to count on him as our #2 though, because who knows what he will look like coming off a torn ACL.

What happened in the second half there? Wilson.

We're also second in points scored per game and I think either first or second in explosive plays per game, up there with the Eagles. All this despite having a banged up offensive line for half the season. Similarly, Wilson is high in passer rating as well as yards per attempt. He's not just dinking and dunking, he puts up chunk yards and tied Peyton Manning's rookie pass TD record.

The amazing thing about that was the fact that Seattle scored 21 points in the 4th quarter without using a time out and took a one point lead

Cleveland media just seems to want to hate Lombardi, even though he's done a solid job there. That Richardson trade alone should have him in the running for Exec of the Year, or at least to get Grigson's trophy from last year

I hate that word. Not because Cleveland isn't a factory of sadness (it is) but it's just so lazy. It's time to come up with other slurs about the city of Cleveland.

Florio uses it every week when he talks about the Browns, it's time to move on dude. Bring in some new insults or bring back "the mistake by the lake" that one was always classier.

Actually, it might be better if the Saints won this sunday so they could then lose when they face the Panthers again while away. Whatever, though, not that big of a deal, as one could also argue whether it would be better for the Panthers to win both games so the Saints get a higher priority to face us in the playoffs.

I might be jealous of the Ravens defense but I will never be jealous of their qb until the day when Deacon becomes GM and trades Ben to Houston for Schaub and a 3rd round pick.

Flacco is the definition of goober. And in my opinion he is a one trick pony. Take away his deep ball and he can't do shit. All the coaches that did not do that in last years playoffs should have been fired for their stupidity. Flacco is basically an unathletic version of Kaep.

Some info on Will Beatty and his struggles after getting a 5 year, 38 million dollar contract from the Giants to anchor the left side of the line. This is a guy that has played well in the past. Specifically in 2012, in fact but who has been a complete nightmare this season.

Ugh.

Beatty says his struggles are due to trying to do too much and change his game. He says he's tried to adjust his technique to mimic other premiere tackles in the league and it hasn't worked out. He wants to "earn" the contract in question but needs to get back to being the player he was. I hope it happens because we have enough holes to fill without adding LT to the list.

How many qbs have the Browns drafted since they came back to life? And how many of them were good?

You have the same odds of drafting another good qb as Gata has of moving out of the basement and finding a woman who is sexually attracted to him. And those odds are much better than you finding another franchise qb in the draft.

There are just not many of them. Easier to replace the rest of the team than get another Ben.

Did a bit of reading on the Winston stuff. Sounds like he prob won't be charged. Apparently Facebook is resisting a subpoena on the girl's account where she and her friends were competing to see who could sleep with the most football players and that the girl was part of the "FSU Cleatchasers," which apparently had its own twitter account and hashtag before all this stuff went down.

This Wilson/Cam Newton for MVP push is super weird to me. Manning is playing the best football in the league. I have to think it's a ploy by the media to drum up intrigue for a race that is all but finished. Manning will have to play catastrophically bad, or the other MVP hopefuls will have to play transcendentally well, for Manning to not win. The only dark specter on Manning's resume this season is the New England defeat.

It always is, last year it was clearly going to AP unless he collapsed at the end, then it would have gone to Manning. This year, unless Manning has a collapse it's going to him, they just do it to grab headlines.

Funny that a rookie RT is the best player on the Giants line right now. Reese and Ross have to get some new bodies on the line, and hope Beatty returns to form next year.
