NFL 2013 Week 14 |OT| Pure Imagination

I'm more worried about Eric Reid trying to hit lynch too hard and giving himself another concussion. You can't out tough Marshawn lynch rookie! Just wrap him up and wait for another guy to help bring him down!

The Seahawks could go 19-0 and win every game by 70 and you'd still call it luck.

Not at all. Seattle essentially got staked to a 10 point lead from fumble luck, but they still forced a fumble. Still put the screws to the Saints. They are the best team in football. CAR is a top 5 team. But they both have benefited a great deal from chance

So has anyone on NFL-GAF ever been to a Super Bowl before? Does anyone know if most of the tickets are distributed to teams to sell to their season ticket holders? Or are they mostly all distributed to corporations that give out to their employees? Curious to know...

I have a pact with a long time buddy of mine that if the Niners make Super Bowl 50 at Levi's we're going to go, regardless of cost.

It'll probably be around $10k total. That's going to be so awesome and suck so hard at the same time.

If the Broncos make it this year, I was hoping on going since its relatively closeby, but from everything I've read about the NFL cracking down on scalping and secondary market it sounds almost next to impossible to get tickets. Hoping someone knew the logistics of how this normally goes.

Woah Gaming GAF has gone to new levels of crazy, were all the posters this bad? Tried reading that PS4 was rushed topic and wow... just wow..

Yeah I saw those, but I was wondering about the legitimacy of those since I read the NFL was requiring 'winners' of the tickets to pick up the tickets once they were inside MetLife (and not allowed to leave and reenter) to prevent scalping and reselling. I was assuming some sort of name was attached to the ticket to prevent reselling - though I guess they might still have some other 'gifting' method? The whole thing is a black box to me, so I was hoping to dig for more. I guess StubHub would probably protect against scams though.

If I had the money, I realize it's entirely logistical that I could go to this Super Bowl if the Seahawks were to make it. That would be fun, and also spoil me as that would be my first NFL game to see live. Perhaps I'll see what next seasons schedule is like for the Seahawks. Would've certainly gone to the game vs the Bills last year had been a serious Seahawk fan at the time.

It's just like this new console time. Everyone full on stupid or biting on trolling.

Belichick says what everyone is thinking.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick has a simple solution for the NFL’s often impenetrable rules about which plays can be reviewed on instant replay and which plays can’t: Just let coaches challenge everything.

Belichick notes that coaches only get two challenges anyway (and a third if the firs two are successful), so it’s not like coaches could throw their red challenge flags after every play. As Belichick sees it, if a coach is confident that replay will show indisputable evidence that the officials got something wrong on the field, that coach should be allowed to initiate a replay review.

“When you have two challenges, I don’t see anything wrong with the concept of ‘you can challenge any two plays that you want,’” Belichick said, via Mike Reiss of ESPN. “I understand that judgment calls are judgment calls, but to say that an important play can’t be reviewed, I don’t think that’s really in the spirit of trying to get everything right and making sure the most important plays are officiated properly.

“If you get a situation where they call a guy for being offside, and you don’t think he was offside and you’re willing to use one of your challenges on that to let them go back and take a look at it — I understand if the evidence isn’t conclusive that the call stands. If it is [conclusive] than they’d overturn it.

“If it’s offensive holding, if you think one of the offensive linemen tackles your guy as he’s rushing the quarterback, and the ball hasn’t been thrown, they go back and look at it and if it’s that egregious of a violation they would make a call. If it wasn’t, they wouldn’t. We have to live with that anyway but now it’s only on certain plays and certain situations.

We cut Fua weeks ago. I'm talking about the great Nate Chandler.

So at one point you had 2 OL that were DL converts? Thats hilarious

Edit: Actually it seem Nate Chandler played both OL and TE in college before going to DL

In his Freshman year, He played the entire season as an Offensive lineman.[2]
In his Sophomore year, He played the entire season as a Tight end in which he only recorded one reception for five yards.[2]

Never seen this before... Riley Cooper and Brent Celek high-five each other in the middle of their routes.

HA WTF?

I wonder if that was planned and part of some scheme?

Anyway really need the Bears to step it up and take down the Cowboys for us.

Don't know what to expect from Detroit this weekend. If they are on their A game, I don't think our D can really hold them. In fact last year our D took care of them for 3.5 quarters only to let Calvin Johnson loose near the end when they became unstoppable.

As usual we need to take an early lead and then keep going unlike these past 2 games where we let the other team hang around.

Super nervous about this game.

And it will last for another 2 years., though the next six months will be all kinds of stupid. I love latter-half-of-the-generation-gaf when the fanbases settle into their own respective threads and ignore each other.

The shittiness of GAF is directly correlated with the number of posts in the NPD threads.

Blitz Cam at your own peril:

Newton Facing 5+ Pass Rushers

1st 4 Gms: 58.6%, 2 TDs, 4 INT, 11 sacks, 11.1 QBR
Last 8 Gms: 64.4%, 7 TDs, 2 INTs, 8 sacks, 90.0 QBR

Would like for him to cut down on taking sacks, but he's been lights out vs pressure during the win streak.

This is really one of the best indicators of elite qb play, especially when your o-line is trash like ours. Cam is a nightmare for defensive coordinators.

This weekend, the Colts will suit up a rugby player who first played football 4 months ago. Why not? Can't be worse than the other pass rushers not named Mathis
