He completed 7 of 8 passes for 74 yards and two touchdowns in the first quarter, the first multiple-touchdown quarter of his career. Analysis: Before Sunday, Tannehill had the NFL's No. 21 QBR in the fourth quarter. He had success driving the ball downfield throughout the game, completing 12 of 18 passes for 217 yards and a touchdown on throws that traveled at least 10 yards in the air. Receiver Mike Wallace caught a season-high four of those 12 completions (in seven targets) for 90 yards.

Panthers have had a hell of a season. 10-6 with a chance to make the wild card was about my high water mark for expectations coming into the season. The fact that we actually control our own destiny to win the division and get a first round bye this late in the season is amazing. Cam's continued improvement and the youth on defense have them setup to be competitive for the foreseeable future as well. Excited for the rest of this season and really excited for the next few years, especially if Gettleman can get Cam some help at receiver.
