This is awesome.

Based on Rodgers' comments yesterday, I'm revising my prediction to ... not playing vs the Steelers.

So, we're boned. Ben throws for 5 TDs, 42-17 final.

Let's go Eagles! Let's go Giants! Bring it home for us, NFC East bros! We gave you both a free win earlier this year, it's time for the favor to be repaid!

You know who we are drafting...

Baby Carr's got this!

Cousin Derek will lead us to an 0-16 record.

Is that #9 Bucs pick supposed to be the Browns?

Illegal Bat
Article 8 A player may not bat or punch:
(a) a loose ball (in field of play) toward opponent’s goal line;
(b) a loose ball (that has touched the ground) in any direction, if it is in either end zone;
(c) a backward pass in flight may not be batted forward by an offensive player.
Exception: A forward pass in flight may be tipped, batted, or deflected in any direction by any eligible player at
any time.
Note: If a forward pass that is controlled by an airborne player prior to completing the catch is thrown forward, it
is an illegal bat. If it is caught by a teammate or intercepted by an opponent, the ball remains alive. If it is
not caught, the ball is dead when it hits the ground.

I would be shocked if we got Clowney at 5.

I could see a lot of teams trading up to get in front of us.

Do the dolphins skip this draft or something?

Seattle special teams have given up a grand total of 19 yards on punt returns this season. Ted Ginn has ten of them.

I saw this stat and said wow before the niners game. Then I saw it in action and laughed. Their punter punts everything incredibly short and we blocked punts twice against them this year. It's an impressive number taken on its own but the punter is garbage. Maybe it's by design and you just give the other team no possible chance to return it on a short punt rather than risk a long td return on a longer punt

yeah its by design. Ryan usually skies it a mile high and it pretty much always ends in fair catch. It's the reason why returning teams are rushing hard to try and block the kick (which the giants almost did last week)

I suppose it's a smart decision with a good D but it's not like their coverage is incredible

Ryan is averaging 42.5 ypp (Net Avg 39.5). I'll take that length and a stifling special teams instead of a punter that kicks it a mile with a defence that gives up 10/15 yard returns with TD potentials.

2013 defense is a lot worse than 2009 defense.

Ben and Rodgers would easily get past 1000. And Fraudgers would score at least 10 TDs on us. That is if he had the balls to play football. Fraudgers is looking like a bigger pussy than Cutler at this point.

smh at Bortles. But could be good trade down bait.

How good is Nix?

He kinda had an off year playing with injuries and then had knee surgery in November. I'd personally take Hageman over him. I still like the value of Donald in the 2nd round over either of them tho.

I wake up to a damned Dynasty Warriors game with a Zelda skin. Can't believe this shit. This is going to dilute the Zelda brand like they did to the Mario brand, and worse it means a real Zelda won't be out till at least 2015. Sigh. I used to love Nintendo but I've been fucked over to many times to trust them anymore (in terms of one or two quality titles every 4 months).

Oh well back to football, looking at McShays mock draft I absolutely agree we need a wide receiver opposite of Megatron. I'm just wary on drafting a USC WR. I'm starting to get into draft mode after Monday Nights fiasco so if Mayhew is there I know he'll go best player available if its a Linebacker, Secondary or Wide Receiver. I think we need to focus on offensive playmakers and try to get some diamonds in the rough with defensive players in the later rounds.

I also think Darius Slay has made some strides thankfully, and I hope he continues to improve.

I will be shocked if the Rams draft Jake Matthews. Weird that Amaro isn't in his first round

It would be stupid for the Rams to draft an OT with the #2 pick when Jadeveon Clowney will be there. I know you guys have Chris Long and Robert Quinn, but you can never have to much talent on the defensive line, and at the very least Clowney will be better than Chris Long and help shed his contract.

Go for the best player available at a position of need, and that would be either Barr or Clowney.

I'm starting to believe drafting offensive lineman that high is a waste, You can find solid offensive lineman in the later rounds like the Lions did this past draft with Warford or Waddle. Mayhew hitting with those two guys helped us focus on the wide receiver core and secondary.
