NFL 2013 Week 17 |OT| The Sentimental Drunk

Late as hell, but I should probably comment.

I don't mind them snubbing Kuechly in favor of the SF backers. I think Kuechly's been a great run stopper and he's getting better in pass coverage (he really needs to learn how to cover without fouling), but it's fair to say he's not as complete a player at the position as Bowman and Willis.

I do think they use a funny argument for passing over Kuechly. He's penalized because of the quality of the unit surrounding him? By the same logic, should Bowman and Willis not be penalized because they play beside each other and behind the Smith twins?

not for me. I have the body of a golden god. My friends in high school were all in shape and played sports. Now at 30/31 most are fat and out of shape.

That'll be nice. I'd like to give a big thanks to Byron maxwell and jeremy lane for filling in so far, theyve done a tremendous job!!

Been lifting for 6 years, but I can't compare to a roid user!! :(

If you need some workout advice I'd be happy to help!!

which one gave up the game winning TD against the cards

I find it too sugary. Woodchuck is my go to cider.

Regardless, I'm glad you are enjoying the fruity side of life, my friend.
I failed you -_-

Dude that's awesome, best of luck to you!! Are you trying to be a personal trainer as a career or is it like a step on the way?

Maxwell is starting, I think.

Wait starting over Thurmond? I guess they're thinking Maxwell is in rhythm with the rest of the secondary so they'll keep starting him? I guess theyll put him pack at nickel is my guess

Most Panthers in the Pro Bowl since 96. Slightly surprised with Cam over Saint Nicholas and Hardy making it, but I won't complain. Hopefully we'll make it to New York so it won't matter.

niners beat the seachickens again! and it feels so good!

ps

i was going to complain about phil dawson not making the probowl but then i saw the stats of the guys who did make it. you're pretty much a loser as a FG kicker if you aren't over 90% accuracy!

here's what will happen:

then we have to go to dallas and get styled on by kyle orton on his way to leading the cowboys to an NFL championship. free shots for all!

smh Both Brady and Manning work with or used to work with long time QB coaches. I know the guy Brady worked with passed away a couple of years ago, so idk what he does now

RE: Stafford and "QB Coaches"

Typical NFLGAF overreaction to Stafford. First off people are going assuming how Staffords demeanor based on a tweet where we don't hear his voice. Meaning we don't know if he said "No" in a asshole Jay Cutler type of way you can't teach me shit, or just a laid back Stafford "No, I don't need a QB coach."

And he doesn't. Manning and Brady don't have "QB coaches". They work out with old high school coaches maybe, or get advice from former vets, but there is no one teaching Peyton Manning or Tom Brady how to perfect a 5 step drop because they are the best in the world at it. Stafford has no problems with his dropbacks (anyways we're in shotgun most of the time).

There is no one who can teach Stafford to be better other than Stafford himself. And he's a smart dude who knows what he has to improve on, and I think he knows Linehan and co. are not putting him in right situations.

I've said it before but I'm going to bring up what Steve Young said about him. You need to reign him in, and the only person who can do that is a coach. Scott Linehan shouldn't be calling 5 receiver sets on a 3rd and 1 telling the defense we're passing the ball. At least 6, and I'm being generous, INTs have come off of tipped balls. Thats not his fault. He's going to throw INTs once in awhile, all QBs do. But he is still as statistically good as anyone in the league. Therefore that makes him one of the best in the world. Period.

These guys are professional athletes and the best in the world. You can put your QB in better situations so he doesn't turn the ball over, but mechanically no one can tell him shit because he's better than them. It's like someone telling Kobe Bryant to work on his jumpshot. He knows what he needs to improve on, he doesn't need some no name scrub teaching him how to shoot a fucking ball. Same with Stafford and throwing the ball.

if an nfc east team wins it after all the shit theyve eaten this year I dont know what I'd do. Though the suck-my-balls post by onehero would be pretty funny though lol

post script

I'm not gonna lie, I really wish the NFC west could send 3 teams into the playoffs, that'd be baller as fuck!!

the real snub is Lavonte David, king of kings. he'll play when the niners go to the SB!

wilkerson also should have been in there :(
