I don't mid if he throws it to Edelman or Gronk if they are immediately open, but he has forced some really terrible throws. He consistently throws to these guys when they are double/triple covered, and that's the problem. His accuracy is also a big issue on throws longer than 10-15 yards. Wish I could watch the all 22 though.
The problem is definitely a trust issue with the others. How can you trust D.A or Lafell? How could you trust the Ochocinco we got? He doesn't have that patience he had when he was younger. I feel like his awareness of his own football clocking ticking off is really getting to him. This isn't meant to be a peyton vs. Brady thing, but I feel Peyton would be about the same with Brady if they switched spots. Peyton can't throw deep anymore, he just spreads it out and he's damn good and efficient with it. The difference is he has speedy receivers who consistently seperate and have good hands or guys who can body up and bring the ball down. That's why Edelman has worked with Brady and Gronk. But Amendola never being consistent to build a report or chemistry, Lafell with Stone hands, or whatever other junk is being thrown out there has not been able to click with Tom.
edit- not to mention neither of these guys are good under pressure. I can't speak to Denvers line, but from what I've seen it builds one hell of a nice pocket around him. Tom has been dealing with a line in decline (lol rhymes), since Matt Light left. Unfortunately we pulled the one year the raiders were mediocre not terribad and landed a projected borderline 1st rounder at the 17th pick by desperation. Solder is overrated by virtue that he is TB12s blindside and was picked by lord Belichick himself who does no wrong. Since then Mankins has declined and was subsequently traded, Koppen fell out of the league, Volmers body has broken down to nothing, and everyone else is plug and play.
