Wow I didn't know the pieces of shit that murdered Sean Taylor were guys he had just paid (generously) to clean his pool.

Just watched Sean Taylor and Brandon Marshall's A Football Life, also watched Mean Joe Greene's last week.

I wish these were longer, like 90 minutes or 2 hours.

Joe Greene was awesome, how awesome? His high school football team changed their name from the eagles or some shit to the Mean Green when he played defense for them. Amazing he played so well for so long with the half good arm. After seeing his highlights and seeing how quickly he got off the ball, watching JJ Watt get off the ball that quick reminds me of him.

Brandon Marshalls was great for the mental health aspect, its great that he's doing things for awareness of mental health. They should have covered his off the field stuff more. Though, some people here would like him crucified for it, I actually looked it up and he's either had all charges dropped or was found not guilty of charges. I personally believe people should be allowed to try to clean up their act.

Sean Taylor, what a sad sad story. I've never like Cowherd, but what an irresponsible asshole to say the things he said about Taylor after his death. Same with Wilbon. Of course neither coward chose to either defend their statements or apologize for them on the show. He seemed like a guy that got into some trouble just being irresponsible but had turned it all around and had it all taken away from him. Dude was straight balling.

Also, good lord at how stacked that 2001 Miami team was.

Warren Moon's is this Friday, should be interesting.

So this has as much validity as the claim against Mike Shanahan taping Chargers practices, and the league being aware of it and not interfering? A claim that Shanahan forced Yahoo to take down and offer an apology?

But even humoring this:

- Willie McGinest

Come on, buddy.

Yea, what's he gonna say? "Yea we cheated."

The pats were 14 point underdogs, of course if they were going to win it was going to be close.
That was one of the greatest offenses ever.

For the record:

Yahoo! Sports editors removed the paragraph Tuesday after Shanahan's attorney sent a letter Feb. 26 demanding a retraction, calling the allegations "completely untrue and without foundation" and "defamatory and libelous."

One was a guy who played in the game, who knew plays intimately, and saw the Pats with his own eyes check perfectly into plays they had never seen before. Basically, an eye witness to a crime.

The other was a journalist who went with an unverified source, with no basis in reality. Who via their editor had to retract and apologize because it was junk journalism. Basically, libel.

Apt comparison. I'd take the testimony of Marshall Faulk over the libel of some sports rag.

So I know some you guys played football so how many of you have lingering injuries?

None Unless you count alcoholism that I picked up after all those after game parties. I stopped drinking as much as I used to now though, so it's all pretty good now.

The league did prevent videotaping practices. Numerous people - including members of the Rams organization and former Patriots employees, have accused the Patriots of taping the Rams practice walkthrough before the Rams/Patriots Super Bowl.

Goodell slammed the Pats for the taping controversy with Mangini - who knew good and well that the Pats were doing it. He swept the remainder - including the alleged taping of practices, which has never been legal - under the rug when he burned the evidence. Can't have the result of a Super Bowl come into question after the fact, after all.

Exactly. They cheated. I hope the demise of the Pats allows us to look at those years with a more critical eye. The media, for the most part, took what the NFL was serving. This new coverup scandal may cause others to look for more dirt. We can only hope.

I'm so glad we beat the eagles.

I had to stop watching ESPN shorts when I saw the one about the Mr. Irrellevent who actually made the team for the Giants only to get cancer and pass away.

I cried like a bitch. "I told him, you're the opposite of irrelevant".

:(

Lol wow this is the most tinfoil hat, bitter thing. In a few more years it will be the exact same way it is now. The pats were a dynasty, one of the best runs of all time. I understand it's fun to watch that stuff collapse, I'll admit I enjoy watching Lebron lose in the finals ESPECIALLY to timmy D, but nothing I say can change what Leb did. It's fun for you to see a hated team, a rival, or an enemy, fall apart, but god damn man it's just that, it will not fix what has happened. You can try to convince yourself it'll change some day, but it won't, I'm really sorry to break that to you. In all seriousness, how old are you? You sound abslolutely naive. I bet you still genuinely believe in reffing conspiracies as well.

Well after thinking I messed up my new pc I build fiddle around with some things and actually got it working. So can anyone recommend me a program that checks the cpu temps.

For those interested, JJ Watt Porn and some Manuel Mistakes.

Hard to play QB when your protection is all over the place, barely slid his way. What's crazy is how many missed tackles are backs caused in the first half to get the run game going a bit.

Protection is bad, but Manuel has no anticipation. Wonder what Orton does this week.

That inside spin move to break up that run is magnificent. Watt just looks so damn fast in those gifs.

Your punishment must be more severe

Can't get more severe than a blowout in the Superbowl, aside from losing Tebow.

No, but the Patriots cheated their opponents out of fair games. i don't even think the Eagles would have necessarily won if the Pats didn't cheat. The Eagles may have ended up playing the Steelers in 2004.

I don't really believe in refereeing conspiracies. "Kraft money" is a joke. What I do believe in is that the Patriots dynasty deserves to be looked at in the same way that the Black Sox scandal was looked at in baseball. The Patriots never received their full punishment for what they did.

It goes beyond rivalries. The Giants are a rival. The Cowboys are a rival. I respect those teams more than I respect the Pats. The Patriots brazenly and systematically cheated every team in the league during the Belichick Dynasty days. They were a great team that wasn't content with testing themselves against competition.

Barry Bonds may not have an asterisk next to his HR records, but I will never consider them to be legit. I don't think you would either. The NFL burning the evidence of the Patriots misdeeds robbed the American people at a chance at justice.

The recent actions of Goodell and the NFL show their willingness to cover up disgusting behavior in the name of protecting the league's image.

Nothing would harm the league's image more than a detailed account of how the last great "dynasty" in the NFL was a sham. The Patriots went on to profit off of being the gold standard. They attracted free agents, gained a bigger fan base, and ratings soared. The league was soft on the Patriots.

I'm doing my part to make sure their actions are never forgotten.

I got that thing Favre is shilling for (completely incidental, I assure you) because my trimmer broke and holy shit is it awful.

Who would have guessed a plastic piece of shit can't trim your nose hair?

Torture. But not of his body, but his soul. Tim Tebow comes out of his retirement and leads the Patriots to the Owl after blowing out the Broncos in the AFCCG.

Then you have my permission to die.

Like I said last night.

Josh McDaniels will get Tebow when he is HC. He will take his 'Wild Horses' (basically the Wildcat), and rename it the 'Guns of the Patriots'. If they win the Superbowl, then it was destiny.

It feels good to know that you've hit rock bottom right? 18-1 freed my soul, I know it will never suck that bad again.

Yeah, I actually felt more free when the Broncos won the first Superbowl. The losses were more binding, simply because you expected to lose. Then we won, so it felt like this time around we had a shot. But we didn't, and now I'm in a limbo where I believe we can do it, but that doubt stirs around in the back of my head.

The Bills have some very talented WRs,RBs and Orton should make reads better being a vet but our defensive line and blitz packages have been great. Our secondary has been solid, especially against the run.

I think we'll win but if Orton can manage games you may have a shot in the AFC East.
