The secret is to slow the game down so that bionic's wife calls and asks where the fuck he is and why all the chores she gave him aren't done yet.

Then he screams, speeds away, and forfeits.
You fat bastard!

How dare you reveal my one weakness to the whole internet!

Like bionic could ever get out of his wifes sight long enough to get to the game.

Or maybe it doesn't matter when you are that good!

My backhand is as strong as my forehand (which is a smash waiting to happen). There is no adjustment against me. You have only to choose the method of your destruction and then hope that I miss. And much like me hoping that the Steelers defense will make a stop or tackle someone, that is one wish that rarely comes true. :(
enjoy smashing the ball into the net off my spins!

you're probably one of those players that's big shot or nothing, and that only works against scrubs that give you the space for it

Why is Prince of Zamunda off to such a good start this season for the Giants? 'Cause he's getting laid says Antrel Rolle :)jnc)

http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/f...-amukamara-hot-start-giants-article-1.1960702

To Rolle, it has a lot to do with the fact that Amukamara got married this offseason and is ... having sex.

"I think it all ties into one another, as far as him getting married, being able to (have sex)," Rolle said about his teammate who had abstained from premarital sex due to his religious beliefs. "He's just developing more as a man and accepting challenges and being the dominant player that we need him to be that we know he's capable of."

Rolle said Amukamara carries himself with more swagger.

"For a man, that could definitely help him out. For a man ... I'm just being honest ... it's helping him out. He walks around with a little more swagger, which is something that we need, which is something that we love," Rolle said.

I can play the spin game too, but eventually someone is going to have to hit the ball up or go for something more and then its smashing time!

In general I am really aggressive at ping pong. It takes almost no energy and I have more fun that way. Plus it hasn't stopped me from winning yet!

I think the Patriots could win this weekend

I think they could lost too

If they are down big by half time you'll hear the biggest boos in history

I am enjoying all the bashing on pats facebook and twitter pages, hilarious

I like this one today about hiring opportunities and someone said "are you gonna hire offensive line men"

CJ Spillman "will take part in everything" according to Garrett. Spillman in involved in a sexual assault allegation at the moment.

http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/f..._source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=NYDNSportsTw

On Wednesday, Garrett told his team that any players involved in a domestic abuse case would not play, regardless of due process.

When asked Thursday about the team’s policy, Garrett said, “There has to be a charge or an arrest made and then due process begins. We're certainly not at that point in this situation.”

He then added, “We've been very clear with our team about consequences that there will be if there is a situation where charges or arrests are made for a crime. We've been clear about that. That doesn't apply in this particular case.

“You have to be careful with just accusations and allegations in this situation. When someone is officially charged or arrested for something, that's when it becomes a different situation in our minds. For now, he's a member of our football team and will take part in everything we do to this point.”

yeah, I play aggressively too

I can play defense really well if I get behind in a rally early off a smash, but that only works against people that get frustrated by all the returns and force a bad shot, so I try to make a move fast

Playing defense the whole match is boring and no fun (at least no to me).

And jbug you need to google ping pong. Those gifs are of some weird anime tennis match.

I try to welcome anyone that posts, I think most of us are like that. The only exception to that is someone coming out of nowhere to blast someone. Context matters of course, but its not the best idea to come in guns blazing.

We've got a good core of posters. I consider this thread the redeeming factor of gaf for me. Hopefully we can prevent recent posters from turning it into their vision of /b.

I'm gonna go ahead and assume this is about me since I made the /b comment, but I'll take this in steps.

1. One thing that is a pain in the ass about this thread is the idea that there are drive by posters, or non-regulars and that's not allowed in sacred NFL gaf. I've had to defend my history in the thread on plenty of occasions. How about this post back in the 2012 thread?

Maybe you should check back through the threads then.

That being said Dre has only ever had 2 seasons less than 13 games, and during his stretch he's always in the top 3.

hmm my name is on all of these, all the way back to 2009? How come you're not listed?

I started posting the first season that I was capable of posting when I got approved. I'm not a "recent poster" or a salty pats fan popping out of nowhere. If anything I'm a salty pats fan coming back as always ;).

2. The /b comment set people off in the worst kind of way, for good reasons. That being said I said sometimes, key word. I backed that up with my reasoning, which was as follows- you'll have people hurling insults, posting pictures of injuries to taunt, and nonesense comments from people with brony avatars... I'm pretty sure sometimes regarding bronies. Nothing wrong with having opinions though, everybody got 'em.

yeah, I prefer playing against another aggressive player... faster matches, more focus on timing and placement

pure defensive players are boring

I'm too lazy to find my picks post, but I'm pretty sure it's GB. Playing at home and Teddy's ankle might still be a little gimpy.
it better be!

Honestly it's for the best. I only wish it happened earlier, but they somehow continued to pull through. Tom took the cut to let Welker resign, but they snubbed him with that garbage amendola. They did the same thing this year by deciding to trade away their top lineman for peanuts, just days before the season started. There are also rumblings that vince is a big source of mutiny in that lockerroom, still bitter about the way his paycut was handled (I actually agree with his cut, he's a shell of himself), and upset about the way tommy kelly's situation was handled.

Starks is probably going to get a lot more carries if Lacy keeps this up.

The curse of the Packer running game.

Edit: Or maybe Richard Rodgers will finally learn to block.

You're still below 20 though. Im addicted almost as bad to this as I was PSO. I have 16K+ kills in the game. :jnc

Yeah it is taking me forever to level up. I keep getting the same stupid bounties every time I log on. Last night I started the one for doing 6 patrols on the moon, again, and after I got through 2 I was fucking done and turned it off.

Ill run bounties with you. I like to combines multiple ones into a strike. I can usually get 2-3 in one strike run.

Also when doing patrol missions only get the missions symbolized with a triangle or the diamond surrounded by 4 smaller diamonds. Those are kill missions and most of the rest are "drive across the map and scout some stupid shit".

You can get them pretty fast that way

Don't know if it's been discussed here yet, mock if old

St Louis' ESPN radio station strongly suggested a decision's already been made, with an announcement coming as early as the season's end and as late as the Super Bowl, that the Rams will be moving to LA. The deadline for intent to move is in February, and the team's lease in St Louis expires when the season ends.

I said recent posters as in recently posted. Never said anything about longevity.

Yes there are drive-by posters every week. Most of the time if they are being inflammatory, it's best to just ignore them and let them slink back into the shadows. Sometimes you have to call them out, especially when the comments are targeted towards a person or ignorant of who that person might be or the opinions they hold. That doesn't mean that this is some old boys network, it just means that there is greater context in the thread most of the time. Most of the time, I'd say almost always, people are welcomed here. As long as they join in the conversation. If they come in guns blazing, talking shit, they're going to catch the ire of the thread in general. It's not just NFL-GAF, it's GAF/Forums in general.

As far as the /b comments, saying such makes it seem that you feel that you are above such things, when in reality you add to it as well. In retrospect, it makes you look hypocritical slinging insults at Jabee, questioning how much he watched football, calling him a casual, and saying something to the effect of that he was basically a child. If you are going to call the thread out in a blanket statement, at least live by your own standard.

Fact of the matter is, there will always be stupid posts. I've made plenty myself. Nothing you can do about it. I guess maybe people just got insulted by that because it was a blanket statement calling it a /b thread.

But yeah, like you said everyone has opinions. That doesn't mean that it's free from consequences though, and as you saw some people took exception to your opinion.

I have to go back to work now. I'm done talking about this stuff.

The /b/ thing is stupid. Drive by posters and insults are internet-in-general things. /b/ shit is stuff like this (these are actual threads/titles taken from the front page of /b/ at the time of this post):

  • pictures of sharpies in girls' assholes
  • furry thread
  • porn star roulette
  • "Who else here hates fat girls, /b/?"
  • "Anyone else ever spent time in a chastity device?"
  • "mods keep deleting pics of my cousin, who wants them?"
  • "Stop being fags and i'll think about posting nudes of this slut who just sucked my dick."
  • "best pic u have of a girl u know irl...."
  • "Pissing shemale thread"

I think the fact that Jabee is so aggressively "doing his part" is hilariously childish yes and I stand by that. I agree I have stupid posts, I already apologized for my wording of one of my posts at Jabee, should've chose better before posting it. I never called it a /b thread, I just explained that in my post to you, but you're struggling to understand that. I also didn't even imply that I was above it, I was just saying generally if a thread on GAF reads like these sports threads do, they generally get locked down quick. I'm not lobbying for it to change the way it is at all, just that it gets out of hand, and there is a TON of trolling. I've been here long enough to know what the thread is like, thanks for the walk through though.

edit- Maybe I should've said it reads like gamefaqs threads then lol, maybe people wouldn't be so literal about it.

Number one rule of NFL GAF is take nothing personally. Ever.

I don't think anyone here means a single insult they sling but sometimes people catch feelings and it's really damn awkward.

Just don't knock up the next door 17 year old while being in an open marriage and then pawn the baby off on someone else and you'll be fine.

What the fuck is "/b/?"

Why the fuck would this thread get locked? It isnt even close to the same as trolling in a sports thread as what happens in gaming threads. Also I totally agree with jabbee and I hope I get to live in a world where something is eventually done about what the Pats did to the sport. Senator Spector already tried to bring a motion before congress, maybe one day someone else will do something, hell maybe just a change of comish is all that needs to happen. It isnt childish at all to want the agents of evil to be punished for their crimes. You would never be defending this like you are if it was a different team that committed these crimes. This whole thing is boo-hoo people are saying hurty things about my team. Get the fuck over it, people say shit about Eagles fans all the fucking time and yet I dont make posts saying the thread should get shut down, or comparing this thread to reddit.
