NFL 2015 Week 12 |OT| - A Fraud is Thankful

Depends on Brock. Broncos win those two games and Manning may as well submit his retirement papers.

I don't think they even have to win to be honest. If they do win and Brock is decent, then yeah I think Manning's door closes.

If they don't win, I think Brock just has to show consistency with last week's numbers and smooth out some of the bumps we saw last week.

If he's consistently bad, well then we are probably cooked.

The feeling I'm getting in general is that 2 weeks is the best case scenario and there is no concrete time table for Manning. Kinda feels like an IR setup on the Broncos end, but with hesitation for Brock's performance.

On the other hand, maybe everyone is truthful and they are just rehabing and hoping for the best.

It's a tough read right now.

No I think you're probably right. It just doesn't make sense that Manning is going to be able to return from his multiple injuries at 39 years old in 2 weeks. It's wishful thinking, and the Broncos trying to make him go out in a good light.

Matt Schaub was never the same after his Lisfranc injury and he was out the remainder of the season. Manning has that, plus other injuries AND is pushing 40.

Parents.

He is saying we are boring because we don't devote all of our time to fucking college girls when we are 35.

This guy of all people...

Devoting more time to fucking college girls doesn't sound like the worst shit Tabris spewed in his life.

Also, I repeatedly told him to go shoot himself in the head with a large caliber bullet, but he never actually did it, since he is still shit posting all over GAF.

Eh, he's right.

I hosted a bachelor party for a friend of mine and we were all yawning and ready to go home at 11:30.

Yeah but you're 50, that's different from 35. Plus I bet at your age you go to an early bird dinner where you guys eat white fish, drink prune juice and to then play a game of shuffleboard before you call it a night.

That Tabris thread is pretty funny.

It works both ways. Do 30s with kids care about your bar drama or nightlife? Probably not. Seems like caring about high school life when you are in college.

Brock Osweiler AFC Offensive Player of the Week.

Good job. Now show me consistency against the Patriots #1 defense in the NFL.

Saw the agent story and knew immediately it was from ESP. He's the worst kind of reporter. He starts with a title and then goes and gets quotes that fit his story. It's not dumb, career wise. The guys that stir the most shit get the most money.

Not that there isn't some dissent evident. Murray is getting ripped and Peters and Chip have had a little thing about whether he can play or not

When talking about his defensive unit, Malcolm Jenkins emphasized that Chip Kelly had nothing to do with their implosion. The safety did, however, relent and say Kelly is responsible when the offense plays poorly.

"When it comes down to the offense, Chip is the face of that," Jenkins said, "so we can let him wear that hat."

Suspended free agent RB Joseph Randle was arrested at a Kansas casino Tuesday night.

He's facing several charges, including felony criminal threats, misdemeanor assault of a law enforcement officer, battery, and disorderly conduct. Randle was reportedly told to leave the casino because he was too drunk. On the way out, he spit on the floor and "went berserk" on the cops on the way out. Randle has a history of legal troubles and is still in custody on $25,000 bail.

Sucks NEs undefeated streak will most likely end this week after the Broncos knock this decimated Pats team. I won't even be mad at then when they lose, nothing you can really do when your whole offense is injured.

Who should take the blame if not Chip? These are his hand picked players!

I'm just sitting here wondering how much differently this season might be going had we retained Jeremy Maclin and not signed DeMarco Murray.

I'm not excusing him for it. I think it's entirely possible they come out vs DET and give up 40 points in the first half. This is what lots of people have talked about where Chip won't bench guys b/c of their contracts. Team could be on the verge of quitting

There has been a lot of talk about Maxwell not wanting to hit, and you see it all the time. He tries to punch the ball instead of tackling. He would be an infuriating teammate. Got paid and just doesn't care. Murray is kind of the same. He hurdles and goes OOB rather than lowering his shoulder and getting a couple of extra yards, like last year.

You guys are hilarious, turtling up like this.

~15th ranked OL by many measures in terms of pass protection, and it's actually the #1 OL in terms of run blocking by FO. While being injured.

Leading the league in pretty much all statistical categories offensively.

White filled in fine for Degone Whois last game.

Amendola seemed to fill in fine for Edelman (Squicken was right, I was wrong).

LaFell is still fine.

Not to mention having the #1 D in the NFL facing what amounts to Denver's backup.

When Brady or Gronk or Belichick goes down, then I'll get all the cliff diving.

I'm not sure who said it, or if it was even in here but someone said Murray was wore out and would not be able to run out of shotgun. That's looking pretty true right about now.

If the Eagles string a few wins together all this goes away. The Cowboys meanwhile are stuck with Hardy who is cancer whether they win or not.

Especially since he "exclusively dates early 20s"

I tried that and it was the worst. Fickle and obnoxious as fuck....

Texans wanted to play a game in Mexico. But not at the expense of losing a home game.

Good. Fuck that

Also screw playing divisional games overseas.

Listening to the Miami Pod Podcast...break down of Miami/Cowboy game is brutal...the coaching staff is entirely clueless on the sport of football...it's amazing we won 4 games

Ha! I need money and materialistic stuff to fake happiness because I'm dead inside and can't find a way to enjoy the little things!

Joke's on you!

:(

But you have a cat how can you be dead inside :(

I find this hostility towards Patriots fans thinking that the Patriots are susceptible to a loss amusing, because if they win, your response will inevitably be "See what I told you you're so stupid for pretending the Patriots might lose," but if they lose, the general response will inevitably be "TAKE THAT PATRIOTS FANS FOR THINKING YOUR TEAM IS GOOD, BRADY IS A FRAUD!" If we properly recognize that, yes, the Patriots are the best team in the NFL right now then we're over-confident, but then if you properly recognize that the Patriots going into Week 12, 2015 are the weakest they've been in a year then you're ... turtling or whatever.

Only 2 teams in NFL history have gone undefeated for an entire regular season, and so it's a very reasonable thing to think that the #2 or #3 team in the AFC has as good a shot as any team beating New England this week, especially given their injuries.

Also you can't watch the last game and think that James White filled in for Dion Lewis. If you're comparing them on Fantasy Football numbers, sure because White had 2 touchdowns, but if you actually watched the game there is a huge dropoff from Lewis to James White and not having Lewis and Edelman significant changes the Patriot's offensive gameplan. Also, their #15 offensive line going into last week was also the same offensive line that was #31 in pass protection last season. The law of averages is going to take hold here and if you have generally a worse O-line roster from last year, they may be able to outplay themselves for 8 or 9 weeks, but eventually, it's going to settle back close to that.

Let's just say that if you get blatantly out coached by Jason Garrett, ya got problems

I've been married long enough that the entire process of dating seems awkward at this point.

Throw some generational and age differences on top of that, and it sounds like a bad time. It would really depend on the person though.
