Why Rodgers is a failure, all in one picture.

So do you guys think that fraudgers just happened to have an assassins creed cloak laying around the house, or did he buy it special just for that picture.

It's a fun place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. The entire economy is built on gambling and hookers. With more states having casinos and hookers, Vegas' outlook is pretty grim.

And that's not even that bad compared to Atlantic City. Basically built on the same economy, plus the beach. But the people in charge of the city the last few years have done nothing to transition away from gambling/highlight the other parts of the city, and that place is dying. Sucks since I grew up there and a lot of my friends are tied to the local economy

Smart man. The traffic is nuts, every single day I see at least one major accident. I try to stay off the main roads now and only use the smaller roads. I think the strip takes up a huge amount of the police power in the city, so the rest of the areas just suffer. We tried to take our daughter to what passes for a park out here but it is miserable. Vegas is a fun place to visit but it is no place to live, and definitely not to raise a family. If we had known we were going to be able to have kids we never would have moved here.

I've visited Atlantic City and Coney Island over the past month for interviews, and both places were just incredibly depressing to me.

Just so lifeless. A far cry from their earlier glory days.

It sucks because that area is generally nice, especially the other beach communities (Ocean City, Margate, Longport) are classic family vacation spots when your kids are young. Hopefully they can turn it around, and it seems like they are finally making an effort. Might be too little, too late though.

Although you did visit in November, there's absolutely no one on the island in the winter. In the summer the city is packed constantly. Same with the other areas. Ocean City goes from about 120,000 people in the summer to 20,000 in the winter. If you're on the islands, the lights just flash yellow constantly since there aren't enough people on the road to warrant full light servie.
