Fucking A man. I've beaten Ori and the Blind Forest and the Witcher 3 the past few weeks. Price matched MGSV Fry's $20 XBO and just finished Mission 30. I went in with low expectations but I like it more than MGS4. A great game, and the new Kojima Productions logo with a Spartan Helmet tells me he's going with some more Geo Political, which I love and hope he continues.
I'll never forget picking up MGS1 at launch, searching Geocity websites to get Merly's Codec Number which was on the back of the game case. Based Kojima.
This week hurt for Lions fans and I knew it would. I liked Martin Mayhew as GM. He had his hits and misses but he built a solid team after the 2008 0-16 fiasco.
Drafting Eric Ebron over Aaron Donald, OBJ and a few others cost him.
ALLEN PARK -- Aaron Donald has been one of the league's top defensive tackles ever since the St. Louis Rams took him with the 13th pick in last year's draft.
The Detroit Lions, sitting at 10th overall, could have had him too.
And Teryl Austin lobbied for him.
"Absolutely," the defensive coordinator said. "Like anything, there's always going to be guys in the draft that you'd love to have, and he's one of those guys. But the way the board shook out where we drafted, hey, that's how it works."

Coach Austin wanted Aaron Donald but Martin Mayhew decided to listen to Joe Lombardi instead of Coach Austin. Of course this was all predicated by the assumption the Suh would resign with the Detroit Lions.
And after catching glimpses of OBJ tip toeing TD passes and balling the fuck out I saw Ndamkakong Suh in that #93 Dolphins jersey and it sucked.
Both Suh and the Lions would have better off had we sticked together but Suh wanted that limelight that he he somehow thought he would've gotten with the Dolphins as opposed to the Lions.
Despite the fact we had one of the best defenses in NFL history last year, Suh left for what 100k and his ego? Chump change, he would've made that back plus be on a relevant team.
I miss Suh and the "Bad Boy Detroit Pistons" style he brought to our defense. DeAndre Levy is that type of player but he's on IR.
Suh brought this "we're going to fuck your shit up and there is nothing you can do about it". Those defensive players come rarely and I miss him.
I was always on the "trade Megatron clear up space for Suh" bandwagon but now that's over I'm starting to think we should keep Megatron unless we get a ridiculous offer.
If I were Lions GM I would:
1.) Fire Coach Caldwell and promote Coach Austin to HC because he'll inevitably a HC somewhere else. Keep Cooter as the OC.
2.) Listen to offers for Megatron. I want both a #1 pick and a second rounder minimum. If not, fuck off, Megatron is retiring a Lion.
3.) Let scrub teams without a QB like the Texans, Browns and 49ers reach for a noodle armed QB and draft a LT. We have our franchise QB, protect him and give him some semblance of a running game.
4.) ???
5.) Super Bowl 2017
This team has the pieces in place we just need some stability.
Unless Sean Payton wants to come here, follow the Carolina Panthers model. Ignore the critics and stick to what you have.
