NFL 2015 Week 15 |OT| - A Fraud’s Misses

THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT

production values, quality, and expectations have supposedly gone up... yet S2's map design is still more impressive than anything I've played to date, and it released with twice the amount of content as Generic Trash Ops 12

Sorry friend, but let's keep the hope alive one day we'll dominate on Socom :(

Chris is more American then any every Pats fan combined. He understands that this country was built on three principles: Freedom, Justice and The Booty.

God Bless America

So, when you looked at that image did you just automatically look way down there expecting him to be there or did you scan it a bit searching and then sighed in disappointment once you found him?

As a Rams fan I instinctively look towards the bottom of every offence related metric, regardless of player or position.

In exchange for a second round pick in 2016, Rams fans have had to endure a 2015 of Nick Foles. Eagles fans get to enjoy a playoff run with Bradford. I would say one side came out ahead

Yes, because the Rams offence has been such a joy to watch the previous ten years.

On the flipside, the long suffering Eagles fans have been starved of playoff appearances over the last decade so the chance of going 8-8 must be like living in a dream come true.

They gave the Socom budget to Kojima.

Despite what Pep and YH might say, Sam Bradford still sucks.

As to why certain Eagles fans might overrate Bradford?

What the fuck are the Packers doing? Why haven't they cut fraudgers yet and made Hundley the starter?

That same article talks about the Super Bowl or bust mentality. I won't try and sell Bradford b/c it is a hard sell. If he want's $15m/yr they have to let him walk

The thing is, the Eagles played the Cards last year and Maclin had 12 catches for 187 yards. Eagles put a value on him and the Chiefs were willing to pay more. Now? The Eagles have their "stuck to their valuations" merit badges and no WRs that can get close to that

Yep everyone saying you don't pay WR's look like idiots now. If the Eagles had Maclin right now things would be so much better.

Kojima-san

Fucking A man. I've beaten Ori and the Blind Forest and the Witcher 3 the past few weeks. Price matched MGSV Fry's $20 XBO and just finished Mission 30. I went in with low expectations but I like it more than MGS4. A great game, and the new Kojima Productions logo with a Spartan Helmet tells me he's going with some more Geo Political, which I love and hope he continues.

I'll never forget picking up MGS1 at launch, searching Geocity websites to get Merly's Codec Number which was on the back of the game case. Based Kojima.

This week hurt for Lions fans and I knew it would. I liked Martin Mayhew as GM. He had his hits and misses but he built a solid team after the 2008 0-16 fiasco.

Drafting Eric Ebron over Aaron Donald, OBJ and a few others cost him.

ALLEN PARK -- Aaron Donald has been one of the league's top defensive tackles ever since the St. Louis Rams took him with the 13th pick in last year's draft.

The Detroit Lions, sitting at 10th overall, could have had him too.

And Teryl Austin lobbied for him.

"Absolutely," the defensive coordinator said. "Like anything, there's always going to be guys in the draft that you'd love to have, and he's one of those guys. But the way the board shook out where we drafted, hey, that's how it works."

http://www.mlive.com/lions/index.ssf/2015/12/lions_dc_teryl_austin_i_lobbie.html

Coach Austin wanted Aaron Donald but Martin Mayhew decided to listen to Joe Lombardi instead of Coach Austin. Of course this was all predicated by the assumption the Suh would resign with the Detroit Lions.

And after catching glimpses of OBJ tip toeing TD passes and balling the fuck out I saw Ndamkakong Suh in that #93 Dolphins jersey and it sucked.

Both Suh and the Lions would have better off had we sticked together but Suh wanted that limelight that he he somehow thought he would've gotten with the Dolphins as opposed to the Lions.

Despite the fact we had one of the best defenses in NFL history last year, Suh left for what 100k and his ego? Chump change, he would've made that back plus be on a relevant team.

I miss Suh and the "Bad Boy Detroit Pistons" style he brought to our defense. DeAndre Levy is that type of player but he's on IR.

Suh brought this "we're going to fuck your shit up and there is nothing you can do about it". Those defensive players come rarely and I miss him.

I was always on the "trade Megatron clear up space for Suh" bandwagon but now that's over I'm starting to think we should keep Megatron unless we get a ridiculous offer.

If I were Lions GM I would:

1.) Fire Coach Caldwell and promote Coach Austin to HC because he'll inevitably a HC somewhere else. Keep Cooter as the OC.

2.) Listen to offers for Megatron. I want both a #1 pick and a second rounder minimum. If not, fuck off, Megatron is retiring a Lion.

3.) Let scrub teams without a QB like the Texans, Browns and 49ers reach for a noodle armed QB and draft a LT. We have our franchise QB, protect him and give him some semblance of a running game.

4.) ???

5.) Super Bowl 2017

This team has the pieces in place we just need some stability.

Unless Sean Payton wants to come here, follow the Carolina Panthers model. Ignore the critics and stick to what you have.

When I read the article it was so awful that I never even bothered looking at Derek's dumb chart. I guess I should have b/c then I would have realized that Ryan Tannehill was a better QB than Aaron Rodgers. All hail the chart!

Detroit is a relevant team, Miami isn't

I love you kas

Any team in the NFL is relevant if you have a young franchise QB.

So that means 2/3rds of the league is irrelevant?

BTW I picked the Dolphins to be a playoff team and liked Tannehill going into this season but his crying during practice told me he doesn't have the testicular fortitude to be an NFL.

Ryan Tannehill: "Boo hoo, some practice squad members picked me off and are talking shit."

Stafford throws game winning TDs against the Browns with a dislocated throwing shoulder. The two are yin and yang and whatever happens with Stafford and the Lions, Matthew Stafford will ball out wherever he goes.

You see old man Carson Palmer? x5 with Stafford if he goes to say the Texans.

Matthew Stafford despite being hit and sacked more than anytime in his career, is throwing at an all time completion percentage.

You build around him and if we do not the Lions are doomed, at least, to another 10 years of irrelevancy.

Matthew Stafford is a franchise QB and anyone saying otherwise is either trolling or has no clue what they're talking about.

Looking at his stats this year is pretty incredible considering he's had a coaching change and usually has less than 2 seconds to throw the ball.

Reading those quotes from Austin, that is a bad look. He shouldn't be speaking about the conversations that go on in the draft room. Teams aren't going to trust a guy who is betraying the things being said behind the scenes. Of course the DC argues for the defensive player and the OC argues for the offensive guy.

I'd keep Dutch, Bread, gata and Milch

Dutch and Bread are friends, and gata and Milch could probably snipe bigots/enemies for cheap profit

Everyone else goes on an island until election seasons, when they're allowed to go to Florida (which I'll cut off the map, so it's still a state but it's far from us, making us safer in the process)

I'll preface this by saying I wanted Justin Gilbert so obviously my draft acumen is shit.

After Gilbert and Barr were taken I thought Donald was the best choice left. The pick would have made perfect sense. Donald would play with Suh for a year and likely become the top dog in 2015, given that it seemed clear Suh was going to leave. We could have kept Fairley to pair with Donald, or let him go; either way we'd have a great player to build around.

I hated the Ebron pick and still dislike it. It was a luxury pick a consistent playoff team might make. Ebron will be a decent player but he won't live up to his draft position IMO. He isn't big enough to push people around like Gronk/Graham, he has drop issues, and he's not that fast; fast enough to embarrass LBs but plenty of TEs are faster than LBs now. It was a terrible pick.

It was also another example of us surrounding Stafford with expensive weapons. Suh, Donald, Ansah, and Levy would have produced the best defense in the league (at least until Suh's inevitable departure). In later rounds we could have found a solid pass catching TE who could block...unlike Ebron. There is rarely an excuse to draft a TE in the first round.

Guys I've had this raging boner for the last hour, did someone post Derek Anderson in here?

How'd you get rid of it? Did you go see the moose? Bionic would understand that.

Rand Paul sounds like the only person with a brain on the stage.

Everyone else is basically fighting with each other to prove they are the biggest warmonger and fascist for our next president.

Why can't we have the grown up Republican party that I grew up with? Those debates taught me something. These debates make me feel like in 10 years Gata will be qualified to run for President.

Bionic.. This is the Republican Party you all grew up with.. This is the end result of all the dog whistles, the fear, and all the fear of socialism.. We have it form in the representation as Donald Trump.

Can't understand why anyone would hate watch a bunch of politicians yell at each other when you have no intention of voting for any of them

Part of it is to at least attempt to be informed.. Maybe hope they aren't a huge thundercunt and it's sometimes amazing/depressing the shit that is said there.

I'm taking the L already and not voting

Smh

Just so y'all know I submitted my paperwork to become a US citizen so I can vote next November, I'm more American then some of you.

Congrats Chris.. You are almost there. :)

no way this movie can suck right??

Time to stay off the internet in case one of you fuckers spoil the whole thing. Probably gonna be cashman too.

Sounds like the bionic household will recognize a fourth Star Wars movie!

Funny looking back at that Draft. I wanted either Martin, Donald, or Ebron. I think both Martin and Donald would have been fantastic picks in hindsight, but not to the caliber of what OBJ has done. So I love that Reese and his scouts were all over that choice. And getting Richburg in the 2nd round was another excellent pick.

The 2013 Draft class for the Giants is what's somewhat crumbling down. Pugh is one his way to becoming one of the better LG's in the league and John Hankins is a solid pro himself, but those two are what's notable from that group.

Seeing the kas salt flow after Suh left was one of the football highlights of the year for me. And for the record, I like Suh as a player and I'm glad he's on the Dolphins, but I don't think he's worth even close to what they're paying him.

Lions should trade for him.
