According to a player, Philbin has consistently conveyed a message that during Saturday practices, the defensive players should take it easy on the offense and let them execute.

Tannehill, who was irritated and testy because he was throwing some errant passes throughout the week, reached his tipping point on Saturday when Chris McCain did something more aggressive than typical for a Saturday practice, forcing a turnover.

According to two players, Tannehill then flipped, saying something to the effect that he would prepare a scout team trophy case for McCain. At least a couple of defensive players responded angrily and a minor confrontation ensued.

Shortly after that, practice squad safety Jonathan Dowling intercepted Tannehill and returned it for a touchdown, according to another player. The defensive players continued aggressively going after Tannehill passes until coaches implored the defensive players to take it down a notch.

Basically everything but the paycheck quote was legit, and the defense played full speed just to fuck with the coaches and Tannehill. #TrainwreckInMiami

For the surface book? Probably. The storage options were ass.

For the SP4 probably not. I'll get the $2k SP4 config I guess.

I'd actually like a low end version of the Surface Book for my wife for school. The hinged removable screen would be great, but she doesn't need a discrete GPU. I'd get the SP4 but using one of those things as an actual laptop without a table to rest it on is impossible.

I dunno, I find the kickstand works ok on my legs. Not ideal, but passable.

Jerry for sure. As long as he's willing to at least consider the opinions of the guys he's hired I think that style of ownership can work out well enough.

I'll take the negatives that come with a Jerry over an owner who is basically not there.

Jerry at least actually cares about the team and now his son is taking over duties and actually improving the team. Ross can't even be bothered to show up to fire his coach or pick an interm.

I think its also time we stop ragging on mnf and tnf so much, espn has really stepped up their presentation and commentary, and the quality of the thursday games has been fine, the denver kc game was exciting!

The Dolphins’ investment in their young guards simply hasn’t paid off. Jamil Douglas has allowed 16 quarterback hurries (most in the league) and Dallas Thomas has permitted 13 (second-most).

Among 79 guards, Pro Football Focus rates Thomas 78th and Douglas 79th.

Receivers in general are a bad place to spend your cap. You want guys who are reliable, can get open, and are willing to sign for below market value to be on a winner. Green Bay and the Manning-era Colts did a good job with this. Throwing high draft picks and mega deals at a wide receiver almost never works out in the long run.

I dont think ive ever seen the penalty called on a punter or kicking team in general. I have seen this penalty called on the defense though. Polomaulo dove and punched a fumble out of the endzone from like the 10 yard line once.

That pen must be awesome for Photoshop and Illustrator. Crazy but I have actually never tried it.

That MS Laptop is WAY too expensive for me, even as an indulgence.

For that price I could build a whole new desktop complete with Raid network and buy a Chromebook with the money left over.

You like Windows phones? i love the battery life on mine, but I think it's mainly because I only use it for talking and texting. If it weren't my business phone only it would drive me crazy.

I like mine but that's probably because it's the only smartphone I've ever owned. I rocked this for 10 years:

Have an iPad at home, didn't want iOS on my phone as I didn't like that, wanted to stick with Nokia because they're fantastic bits of kit so Windows Phone seemed like a decent idea.

I don't use a lot of apps outside of the obvious ones, don't play games on my phone so WP does everything that I need it to and the camera is fantastic. Was thinking of switching over to an Android phone so this announcement has come at the right time.
