Madden finally installed, picked the Texans and made a trade:

Missed the discussion last night but Manish Mehta is a joke of a reporter. His Kaep report shouldn't be taken seriously. Seems really made up and "early" considering a change in coach.

With that said, if he does want out and Chip wants to move him, no better trading partner than the Eagles.

Eagles sign and trade Bradford for Kaep. Throw in Josh Huff and call it a day. With the Defense I think the Eagles have the potential to field, plus a renewed focus on the OLINE, Kaep would flourish.

The big controversy in golf this week is the Eurotrash allowing pros to wear shorts on the driving range and during practice rounds. No one in America watches the European Tour. The ratings are WNBA levels bad despite golf (particular in Europe) being the squeakiest clean sport on earth.

Meanwhile the NFL is celebrating a guy who put one of his four year kids that he rarely sees (and one of many children he rarely sees, who are scattered across the country) in the hospital because he beat him so thoroughly and vigorously that the kids scrotum exploded.

The viewing audience does. not. give. a. fuck. Concussions, murders, cover ups, woman beating, rapes, child sex torture, catch rules, Minnesota, teams moving, stealing from taxpayers, racist team names....no one fucking cares that all of these disgusting things are inherently part of the NFL fabric. The last three years there has been more controversy surrounding the NFL than at any point in its history and the pace of growth has accelerated.

Roger Goodell is a genius. The NFL is fucking deplorable. I will continue to watch every game.

What about cold air deflating footballs?

Now THAT is important.

We just respond to it like we do reality tv. All that garbage almost makes it more entertaining.

Even Browns games!? :)?

He said NFL games

There is no almost about it. The NFL has embraced the WWE philosophy along with the help of ESPN, and the great thing about it is they don't even need to pay writers!

I was listening to ESPN's golf podcast (they interviewed Fuzzy Zoeller...I can't pass up an hour with Fuzzy!) and the two ESPN clowns opened the show talking about the need for the PGA to "create villains to make golf more interesting, like we did with the NFL."

Is the NFL any more debauched than it's ever been?

The only difference between the NFL now vs any other period is that all of the deplorable stuff we hear today was confined to urban legend back then.

The NFL hasn't changed. the news cycle has.

Spieth would be the perfect villain

Except that reality tv is full of shitheads that don't deserve anything but to crash and burn. That is not even entertaining. Shit is beyond trash and are the worst people alive.

Edit: Mech posted it.

Don't see Manning wanting to play in the NFC.

Still think he retires, takes over the Titans and becomes a minority owner with a side deal in place to buy a controlling interest with his family when Eli hangs them up
