Can't really hold a QB competition during the season. It sucks for Romo. There's finally a full team in Dallas, a chance to win in the playoffs, and he doesn't get to be the QB. His game vs Peyton's record setting day where he threw all those TDs against a much better defense than what Dallas had will always be forgotten too. Dude just has had a bad luck career (not monetarily of course)
To quote Crash Davis in Bull Durham: "You respect the streak"
