so the cards are $16 mil over. they cut cut levi brown now they are $2 mil over. who do they cut to get an additional $15 mil in cap space? after that, who do they cut to sign their rookies? who is going to play LT for the cards?

you can say i'm scurred and obviously i'd rather be playing kolb or skelton than peypey but it just seems like a stretch to get all this done

Kolb and Brown get them under the cap.

You of all people pretending like "cap room" is a real concern for any NFL team is laughable.

I would think they have some sort of plan in place if they can come to a deal with Manning. I doubt they just invited him to the facility for lobster and blowjobs.

If Pittsburgh can go from 26 over to 8 under, just shows that numbers can be moved around so well that it'd make even DCX shake his head.
 
The Cards are pretty incompetently run.

Fitzgerald is a fucking monster but that contract they gave him was absurd.
The 08 Cards made a run because they had a diverse attack.

Can't remember about their defense but it was certainly better than it was last couple of years.

They don't really have to cut anyone, they can just give out bullshit extensions and pay out this years salaries as bonuses, spread the cap hit over X years and players still get their pay. I'm sure they'll find ways to fit him in, cap is meaningless if your owner is willing to pay out the bonuses.
 
Heavy Rain actually made me cringe. It's nice that a game had that kind of effect on me but I'm not a huge fan of the Saw movies or anything which, is basically what the game tries to become.

Killzone 2 had a bajillion curse words. Seriously. That's all the dialogue is like. I think there are more curse words than regular words.

Enslaved looks okay....need to take it off my shelf and play it.

I'm pretty sure that 17 mil over is bullshit. Multiple guys at the official forums are saying counting everything, including Brown's contract we won't keep and the tenders we just offered, etc. we are 3 mil over. That sounds about right because the beat writers commented recently that we were a little ways under the cap. So now we either cut or more likely restructure Brown which saves a nice big chunk, cut Kolb for another 8 mil off the cap, let players like Porter go to free up more, lock down the new deal with Campbell which would have the first year cheaper than the franchise tag we just put on him, possibly restructure a contract or two. You get it FMT? We have plenty of money to snag PM and still go after other FA's. Your fear is palpable! We were already going to do all these things save for cutting Kolb anyway even if Manning wasn't in the equation.

Now we play the waiting game... The limited reports stated that we only talked football with him and that he was very engaged. Hopefully he'll decide tomorrow and make the statement later in the evening or on Tuesday. I'm feeling pretty damn confident he's ours but you can never know for certain.

Really hope Chicago doesn't sign VJax for the 13+ million a year he wants. Let Washington have him if he thinks he is worth that much.
