I forgot that Alex Green existed, so Ted won't sign him.

But don't try to lie - a short pass game would only further murder opposing defenses.

No one but potentially Green can run a proper screen on this team.

Paying money for a running back in 2012.

I agree with you. Hanie is terrible and we're better off drafting a young QB to learn behind Peyton. I'm not sure what Elway is thinking about looking at Hanie as a potential backup QB for the team. I've got a bad feeling about this.

As for Volek, I know jack shit about him too. I'm going to guess he's another Hanie.

I'm surprised Saturday hasn't signed with us yet. Figured he'd be right behind Peyton after the deal was done.

I think he either visited yesterday or he's visiting today. I know he visited Green Bay first.

I'd pay up to $5mil for Forte.

Don't think it'll happen ($$$, presence of Alex Green, draft prospects) and Forte probably wants way more than that.

Supposedly he wants DeAngelo money. Which is laughable. (It was laughable to give it to Williams in the first place)

It's amazing to me how much the switch to a passing-oriented game has reduced the market for running backs. You'd have to be insane to give a huge contract to a running back right now.

Unless that RB is a healthy AP.

Also, most backs are being put in systems as pairs where no one will get huge numbers, but they'll be able to hopefully play longer.

Man. I feel sorry for you, Rodgers:

lol

I hope the bears doesn't go DE in the first round, i want them to just grab Michael Floyd instead. He won't be there in the second for us and that would be a dagger offense for the bears this season.

i doubt Floyd is going to be there at 19, so you won't have to worry about the Bears not drafting him.

But now you need a back with hands, who can run routes, while being able to pass protect in 4 wide sets. A true number one back, with a good all around game is hard to find.

In honor of Tebow's arrival, Jeremy Lin had a Tebow game, going 1 for first 11, then making late plays and free throws that held off Philly.

Forte should've accepted the Bears deal last year. He holds even fewer cards than he did before now. He and his agent's main point of being "the workhorse" for the Bears has dwindled with this Bears offseason.

Yeah. It seems to me like someone is going to steal an RB of Peterson's talent pretty low one of these days. I think Richardson comes close, he's not as slippery but he's just a steam roller, has nice hands, and catches the ball well.

How good do you think Lattimore is going to be?

Let's face it, Goodell is going for flag football, no RBs, 5 wide sets and 15 yards for a 1st down. New Face of the NFL!!! Pass all the time! You don't need dudes in the backfield clogging up all that empty space that QBs can stagger around in while the D tries to rip the flags off his hips!!!

Tom Crabtree is tearing into Warren Sapp aka qbkillah on twitter.

I work for "Company A", where we preach employee safety. Yet the nameplate on my desk reads, "Employee Murderer".

Also ripping him for punctuation and capitalization. Twitter is rad.
