So what you're saying is Russell needs more weapons so he can emerge as an elite QB!! I like the way you think!!

He needs a guy like Amendola who can make tough catches in the playoffs. I doubt you'll get anyone better with your first round pick, so let's just swap and call it a night!

Nah, we need someone that is a legitimate deep threat to keep guys from just sitting on the underneath routes all day.

Mike Wallace, take a discount and come on down!

He doesn't even have to actually catch anything, just run go routes every play to occupy DBs!

Ben Volin of the Boston Globe is predicting the Pats will sign Revis to a 5 year deal with the last year or two being team friendly.

Violin's credibility is pretty good, but this is definitely just him predicting based on what he's heard and not some direct source.

Tangentially related to AJ Jenkins, I still don't know how Jon Baldwin ended up having such a terrible NFL career. I saw a lot of him in college and he was incredibly impressive. It seemed like his body was built for the NFL too.

Instead he and Jenkins get swapped in a "fuck it why not, neither of us want this scrub" trade and now he's basically out of the league.

College-NFL transition is really hard for WRs, it seems.

Get the old arch nemesis to retire as a Pat after getting a ring with us... I like it.

I assume the majority of the top end guys will be returning to their original teams and people looking to make a splash will be up shit creek while the other teams will bargain hunt to pick up depth commodity and slight upgrades on value. so basically like any other year

I'd be very surprised if we got Byron Maxwell back.

Hopefully we can draft Marcus Peters to replace him

It certainly can be, but it's not like I didn't already have an appreciation for that at the time. There are certainly guys that thrive in college that you can tell might not necessarily make it in the NFL. But like I said, it seemed to me like Baldwin's game was really built to make the transition to the pro level.

Apparently the first official review of the Order came out. Hold on to your butts folks.

Being that the Order is the first AAA exclusive non-launch window, non-remake for the PS4, this game's release is basically serving as a proxy console war for the fanboys.

The Sony crowd wants validation, the MS cats want vindication, the Nintendo crowd just wants to find a New 3DS XL

It's gonna get ugly because I have a feeling the game isn't all that great. Which is bad for most of us but good for the Mechs/Breads/ZBs of the world.

Nowhere in that mix is there room for folks who just want to play the game with no agenda or axe to grind.

This is NeoGAF, where people talk more about playing games than actually playing games themselves and there's no room for moderation.

Gaming Side is just a big ol race to have the fastest, loudest, (and most stupid) opinions now.

In addition to releasing Brandon Bostick, the #Packers also have cut WR Kevin Dorsey, a 7th round pick in '13. Finished season on IR.

Bostick joined the Packers as a non-drafted free agent on May 30, 2012, out of Newberry College. He spent the entire 2012 season on the team’s practice squad before appearing in 24 games the past two seasons (2013-14) and totaling nine catches for 123 yards (13.7 avg.) and two touchdowns.

Dorsey entered the league as a seventh-round selection (No. 224 overall) of the Packers in the 2013 NFL Draft from the University of Maryland. He missed his entire rookie campaign after being placed on injured reserve prior to the 2013 season. Dorsey appeared in three games in 2014, posting two special teams tackles and one catch for 4 yards before being placed on injured reserve on November 8, 2014.
Two cuts official.
