My guess is panicking. Or fishing for another offensive piece to surround Stafford with. Or least likely looking for a NT to switch to a 3-4 front.
Wade historically uses smaller NT's. He doesn't require the NT to take up 2-3 blockers like a typical 3-4

Denver kinda hurt by their recent draft classes kinda sucking. Elway has done good in FA but he needs to get better at drafting!
They need all the money they can find to try and keep Revis. But I too think they should pick up that option.

Hudson's contract is comparable to Alex Mack's last year, couple million more, but he is 5 years younger. Not that it matters, but we really didn't overpay imo.

I hope they at least go after a O-Lineman to replace Sims. I'm onboard a 3-4 change if they get the right piece at NT.
I don't think we have a player in the secondary who is taller than 6'. Browner's cap hit for 2015 is suppose to be really low too.

So Revis is choosing between a lot of money and a team who won't make the playoffs and less than "a lot of money" and the chance to make it back to the super bowl,
Per earlier reports; Jets and Patriots. That said, Jags, Eagles, Raiders, and Colts have a crap ton of cap space. Could see all of those teams get into the mix as well.

It's not like he isn't going to be paid in New England. He's going to make at least $16M per year anywhere, so the choice will probably come down to getting $16M from New England or $18-20M from the Jets.

I'd love it if Revis took a pay cut to stay with the Pats but if I were him I'd go get as much money as possible. He already has his ring, what else is there left for him to do?

He already won. Getting paid is probably a priority.
I don't see any reason to vilify Revis. He's free to go anywhere he chooses, I just hope he stays in New England.
Once you get one, it turns into get paid.
