Cortland Finnegan released on the same day that Andre Johnson's news was reported. Be careful, Cort. It's real in these streets!
You must have been ecstatic when Lafell got his ring with Patriots.
Thanks Rando. You know its going to happen, expect it to happen, prepare yourself and it STILL hurts.
Oh well. At least we still have:
NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUK!!!!!
How many yards did they get for that?
How can we take you seriously when you say things like this.exactly my point.
Pats should just let Revis go and save cap space. It wouldnt make a difference.
How can we take you seriously when you say things like this.
Mech I'm sorry to hear about your team getting rid of Dre. If it makes you feel any better, niners are not going to bring back Gore.
Mech don't do this!!
Im good. It really did hit me harder than I expected when it actually happened. Been saying it since last season we can not pay him his contract dollars at his age and production. DeAndre Hopkins was more productive and if you watch the games was doubled more than Dre was.
Because you say stuff like thatYall never take me seriously.
Why would anyone trade for Dre and take on his contract when they are going to release him..does not compute.
Nba tradeline usually sucks. This year was the exceptionNBA trade deadline and NFL free agency are 2 of my favorite sports times.

A team desperate to secure him would
I started to feel bad for Mech until I saw that Pats comment. If Dre goes to NE he can eat shit.
A team desperate to secure him would
Because you say stuff like that
He's not that good anymore. He's more a complimentary piece to a team that already has a burner like the Colts to replace Wayne. His targets were stupid high so he put up numbers by default.
I'd take him in Miami, since he can look for trade he can choose a team and restructure would have to be part of that
Nba tradeline usually sucks. This year was the exception
I want him to win a ring and those are his best chances. PERIOD.
I'm pretty sure he wants a shot a ring. Miami no bueno.
what if he went to indy and won a ring
Jets need to spend
Darrelle Revis is available.
I know that feel bro!I would honestly never watch football again.
Former Australian rugby league star Jarryd Hayne has officially reached a deal with the San Francisco 49ers.
Im going to be a San Francisco 49er, Hayne said before donning a 49ers baseball cap.
Hayne said he got $100,000 guaranteed from the 49ers, an impressive figure considering hes never played American football before.
49ers coach Jim Tomsula has a background in NFL Europe developing Europeans into NFL players, which Hayne said was instrumental in making his decision. Hayne also thanked Jack Bechta, his agent, of JB Sports for helping him through the process of coming to the NFL.
Hayne has worked with Tim Dwight, Sav Rocca and other former NFL players to prepare for his conversion to a new sport.
Hayne chose the 49ers after also visiting the Detroit Lions and Seattle Seahawks. Hes projected as a return specialist and running back.
When I took over the management of Jarryd Hayne, there was about 16 teams who wanted to bring him in for a private workout, Bechta said. Because of the level of interest, I thought it was best to have a pro day workout in which 14 teams attended. Of the 14 teams about 10 requested a personal visit to their club to meet with their coaches.
Jarryd visited the 49ers, the Seahawks and the Lions, three clubs that i have confidence in having the energy, experience, plan and patience for developing him. and on top of that opportunity to contribute right away on special teams. Jarryd feels comfortable and natural as a return specialist and will try to make it as a running back. He knows he has to earn his way onto a roster via special teams and start at the bottom of an 80-man roster. I took him on because I am confident he will make it.
Hayne was named the best player in the National Rugby League last season before retiring from the sport to pursue a football career.
The New Orleans Saints, Minnesota Vikings, Denver Broncos, Tennessee Titans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Jets also displayed interest in Hayne.
Hayne recently ran the 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds. His time would rank him sixth among running backs from the NFL scouting combine, including Michigan States Jeremy Langford (4.42), Florida States Karlos Williams (4.48), Texas A&Ms Trey Williams (4.49), Northern Iowas David Johnson (4.50) and Wisconsins Melvin Gordon (4.52).
Other teams that attended his Pro Day at the University of San Diego or requested video included the Dallas Cowboys, San Diego Chargers, New England Patriots, Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts, Atlanta Falcons and Washington Redskins.
The 6-foot-2, 226 pounder had a 1.59 10-yard split and 4.29 20-yard shuttle. The running back drills were run by retired NFL running backs and offensive coordinator Clarence Shelmon.
If this guy is a starting linebacker and can also kick field goals I might have to buy a Niners hat.Australian rugby star Jarryd Hayne...
...signs with the 49ers.
