Congrats to Hawks-GAF! Seriously impressive season and playoff run for you guys, the win was totally deserved and I hope you all soak it up.

Best part of this for me is seeing Kam get a SB ring.

I don't remember him in NFL age until last year.

How good was that Seahawks defense historically? Considering they raped the Broncos (at least according to a porn site) statistically greatest offense of all time does that put them in top 3 of all time? I thought the Steelers D from 08 was the best we would see for a long time but this Seahawks defense might be even better. Hard to say. We were better up front but they were certainly better in the 2ndary.

I used to lurk GAF when it was on ezboards too!

And remember I have only been a Browns fan since about 2007 when I started taking the NFL more serious. I posted maybe 5-10 times a year in NFL-GAF until around last season when I really took the plunge and introduced myself.

Wow, I'm surprised they have so many people signed through next year. I was expecting more people to be coming off their contracts this year. Probably want to keep Bennett around if you can, but otherwise not a tough year at all.

Could certainly see you guys winning again next year.

I was initially drawn to NBA age as it was the first place I found intelligent and funny people to talk about basketball. Shame what happened. :(

Crazy to think of how much free entertainment we have gotten from this forum if you are an old timer/lurker/whatever. The gaming side used to be a lot better because the news used to be better. I remember being blown away by the games from the PS2/GC/Xbox launch. Posters always sucked. Jaded as fuck now so it is hard for me to get excited unless something as amazing like the 3DS comes out.

According to FO the 2008 Steelers rated better over the regular season. I don't think they've run numbers that include playoff games, but who knows!

I think with even an average QB, they could get at least 8. I think the receiving corps (outside of Welker) has grown up a lot and learned how to work on their techniques and routes. Plus if he retires, that's $20 mil you got coming off the books, so you can shoreup whatever side of the ball you want.

1. What free agent worth a shit is going to want to play for a team with no QB?
2. Finding an average QB is hard. Look at the league.
3. The receivers sure looked like fucking garbage last night. If the ball wasn't dropped into their hands they were zero efforting almost everything. Looked like cowards to me. Just like in GB that WR corps is mostly a creation of the QB.

This was really something last night. Demarius was scared of getting hit and was really busy going sideways/backwards at times. Almost fucked up on that 3rd and 1 screen play because of it and on the pick where Peyton got hit by Avril, Moreno (?) just fucking stood there staring at the ball.

I can't see them beating San Diego or Kansas City. What NFC opponents do they have?

Guess that "greatest offense of all time" stuff got to their heads. Didn't figure that they'd take hit and get challenged.

Only team remotely close to having Denver's talent at WR is the Bears Marshall / Jefferies combo. You're crazy.

Niners and Seattle were the 2 best teams in the league. AFC Championship looked like college football in comparison.

I don't think they were spooked they just were not as good.
