It's not looking good right now for those who are hoping to get Gamepass for free again this year. It seems that the NFL did away with it being free in any region, which means even if you can find a VPN that isn't blacklisted, you still have to pay.

My understanding of the cookie trick was it was people who had access to Gamepass posting their cookie publicly so people could duplicate it and Gamepass would think it was the original session? I guess that could technically still work, but you are dependent on other people (who have shelled out over a hundred bucks for access) sharing their cookie.

They're apparently doing the actual ceremony during the summer instead of during a game. I think they're really afraid of all the anger that persists out there mucking it up. I guarantee you'd hear boos unless it was done maybe 20 years from now.

I know I'm not particularly fond of the guy...and that's an improvement from a few years ago where I outright hated the dude with the fire of 1000 suns. Rodgers winning the Super Bowl and Favre's fall from grace did a lot to ease the pain.

Yeah. They'll do right by him. They took care of Chad Jones a few years back after his accident in New Orleans almost got his leg amputated. Took care of all his medical bills, rehab, etc. and he walked away with a nice chunk of change.

Surgery is not fun (mostly because being in a hospital is the worst) but rehab after surgery really sucks.

I know I've mentioned it before but the David Wilson stuff really sucks for me from a personal perspective. Wilson was a huge star of VT's football team during my time there so I associate many of his breakout runs with my favorite part of attending VT. After following his college career so closely I was incredibly excited to see what he could do in the NFL.

All of that said, I'm glad his injuries aren't serious enough to drastically impact his life outside of football (or at least it appears that way). Good to hear that the Giants did him right.

On a positive note, the new NFL app for XBone will have ESPN and Yahoo fantasy integration apparently. And you can use it to stream Sunday Ticket (with or without DirectTV, still costs a ton tho).

I know it's easy and just the preseason but jeez the Giants O-Line looked meh. I can imagine the Lions destroying them on MNF next month. In fact, if we lose to the Giants at home it'll be a sign that this is going to be a long, ugly season.

Percocet didn't give me any of that. I don't know if it's just because I had such real pain after my surgery, but it did a great job at making me feel very little. But I had all my motor skills and never felt weird.

Probably at least 3-4 more years, hopefully 5-6. It's why getting rid of Arians and bringing in Haley was important. It wasn't a popular decision, but it'll extend Ben's career several years.
