NFL Preseason/Training Camp 2014 |OT| - This is our year!

After watching the Patriots-Redskins joint practices this past week, ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss came away thinking Robert Griffin III "didn’t look like the best quarterback on his own team."
Reiss is a wholly unbiased observer, so this definitely caught our eye. He thought Kirk Cousins "was better" than RG3, running Jay Gruden's offense more efficiently. Reiss says he spoke to members of the Patriots to double-check his observations of Griffin, "and then heard the same sentiment echoed by some others in the Patriots organization."

Cousins had his chance and he failed.

.....every time I forget that you're a Steelers fan.

That was Neil Fucking Diamond!
It probably wasn't him, but it sounded a little like him

If Tammy and Giselle ever had a domestic dispute is there anyone who doesn't think that Brady would lose that fight?

Also that song blows.

And remember the name Dri Archer. I can't wait to see him stylin on the Ravens this season!

.................

Fairley has no reason to go out in the first preseason game and actually put effort against a rookie who, like I said, is playing for his NFL career.

Fairley has already proven himself in the NFL (though he pisses me off at times), that rookie is literally playing for his future.

Not saying that rookie can't be good I just don't expect any proven veterans to risk injury.

You were talking about rushing though dude. He obviously can catch the ball (then again so can Bush).

I know, and he is a great north-south RB, and runs through holes hard. Bush got the bulk of the carries early in the season because he's Reggie Bush and Bell was still an unknown commodity. But Bell proved himself and is a solid #1 RB.

Not to mention when Bush runs the ball he backpedals and tries to be Barry Sanders or emulate his days at USC.

Kas you my boy but....
In a game like football, when you're in game like situation going out on the field and not giving a effort is how players get hurt. I don't expect players to go out on the field with a " I'm not even gonna try" mentality even in preseason. You have to expect the guy across from you to go full go, Vet or not. Again not going full go in a sport like this is how players get injured, not the way you put it. Also Bitonio is a high second round pick, pretty much a late 1st.

Also fairley is playing for a new coaching staff, he should go out on the field and prove his abilities again. He's not some 10 year multiple pro bowl vet

I agree with you somewhat and thats what worries me about Fairley in general. I worry he's a Shaun Rogers 2.0 who only plays for the money and once he gets paid will not give a damn, However, Stafford went out on the field for one series and 4 passes, and Megatron himself wasn't even going 100%.

It's just the way it is. If this were high school football, or college, I guarantee you any player who loves the game goes all out in a preseason game. But NFL players are playing for millions of dollars and Fairley is in a contract year.
