one time a long time ago at this job i had there was a girl who had a jacket that said "ROCKSTEADY" and i would always joke that she was a ninja turtles fan.

i tell you this story because she was pretty cute. we worked together for about 6 months and then one time while closing me and this other dude had the magazine section of the store and had to put magazines away that people left out. of these magazines, there were porno and usually we'd check them out. well this time there was a new issue of "Naughty Neighbors" and sure enough guess who was in it? the chick with the rocksteady jacket.

the next day the general manager pulled all the issues and i had just seen the girl crying in back. she quit that day and i never saw her again. i actually felt really bad because in talking with people the following days/weeks about it she had just moved to LA from the midwest and needed some money so she did this porno shoot to keep herself afloat. really bummed me out and gave me a new perspective on porn

back to the topic at hand though, there should be only one movie that you see in the coming weeks and that is guardians of the galaxy. LOG TRAP!

So you would rather have a retread coach? You saw greatness in Kelly and a gimmick offense? Yes its a gimmick and defensive coaches will adapt this year.

We played it safe with Kubiak, didn't get us very far. I would rather gamble. Greater risk = greater potential reward.

The Cowboys have had a far better record over the time since the Texans became a franchise, but congrats on beating one of the Campo coached Cowboys teams.

i tell the story every now and then because it is something out of a crappy made-for-dvd comedy movie but i swear to you it is true. those were wild times. i think back on those times earning like $6 an hour with very little responsibility and just chilling out vs. making drastically more money now but what the fuck mortgage, stressful job, niners making it to 3 straight nfc title games and no superbowl wins. how much more can i take!

At the end of the day it comes down to playoff wins and Super Bowls. Right now you are worse than us in comparison, 12 year of the franchises existence. Ask Peyton how it feels to have tons of winning seasons and one Super Bowl.

Run n Shoot 2.0. It was all the rage in the early nineties. Then defensive coaches figured it out and it died.

You will never win a playoff game in January with it. Trust me, that offense will only lead to playoff heartbreak. Fuck the Bills.

7-5 on a heavily NCAA sanctioned team. His players were allowed to walk away with no penalty to their playing time. Yet he held it together and still recruited 5 star players while having a winning record.

They were more talented than about 3/4ths of the teams they played, yet they they had two mediocre seasons under BoB.

It's pretty irrelevant to bring Garrett into this, since nobody is debating the fact that he's been a pretty sub par coach so far in his tenure, but you keep on hyping a guy with a career 15-9 record at a school with a big time football program. Shit, even Lane Kiffin did better than that and he had sanctions as well at USC.

Well you accept mediocrity while I prefer some sort of hope and will look for that silver lining.

The whole BOB thing is just a joke. No worse than the other nonsense that goes on in here: stupid SNES jokes, Drake, androgynous girls pics, food snobbery, bragging about being drunk, Browns jokes, etc.... oh and the Patriot hate. That shit has gone beyond funny a long damn time ago. I hope they DO win another Super Bowl just so everyone here can STFU about it.

Am I hopeful for the future? Youre god damn right I am. I said it before: if you don't believe your team has a chance every damn year then you should just stop being a fan.

Some delicious dinner, a walk along the beach later, and some wine when we got back. All in all, a good wrap up to a rough day for both of us. The owner of the cabin up north we rented over Labor Day weekend cancelled our deposit because he can go eat shit and die.

Cowboys, Manziel and VY are all the same to me. When the Texans sucked all we heard was loud Cowboy fans telling us how bad were are and the VY zealots how we screwed up passing on him. Once it turned around, VY disappeared and the Cowboys realized how dumb Jones is they vanished.

Now the Manziel shit is on repeat. Cowboy fans haven't returned because as Cashman stated: while Jerruh is there they really have chance.

Yup. I started watching football right when Johnson was reviving the dynasty and the Cowboys were kicking the Packers' asses in the playoffs year after year. I take immense satisfaction in their mediocrity year in and year out.
