NFL Preseason/Training Camp 2014 |OT| - This is our year!

Bradford is a free agent after this year or they can release him? Brah just doesn't have it. Ill be shocked if he can even get middle of the road numbers this year.

breh plz

He has a non-guaranteed year left after this year but can be cut with minimal cap damage. But I'd wager he gets extended before he is cut. He's a middle of the road QB. Won't create anything but usually gets what is there

Think of it this way. What WRs have come to STL and seen their numbers fall? Or left STL and seen them go up? Gibson and Amendola were the same as they ever were w/Brady and Tanny. If anything, Cook had his best numbers going before Bradford got hurt. That's always the issue; the injuries.

Just to further darkests point, samson satele is very available, he's a vet amd better then whatever scrub they have now, but for whatever reason the dolphins aren't signing him

You should get your vision checked. Ask the doctor to use this instead of a vision chart for proper calibration:

I have provided one for each eye. Make sure when you are finished you can easily make out the score at the top of the screen as well as the time on the clock.[/QUOTE]

You hold on to that one win in like 6 years friend!

Confirmed Harold Henderson will hear #browns' Gordon's appeal tomorrow. Been told second-hand smoke won't fly with him.
Rotoworld said:
A source previously told the Cleveland Plain-Dealer that "you would have a better chance of convincing your teacher your dog ate your homework" than trying to get Henderson to buy a second-hand smoke defense.

Don't act surprised if/when Gordon comes back in 2015 at the earliest.

Shelly Smith at center? wtf? Rams lost Wells last year and never once had Smith do any reps at center in practice.

Wait, that is an actual player's name? I sincerely thought you guys were making fun of the ESPN reporter's broad shoulders or something.

Mike Neal and Nick Perry off PUP. Participated in practice.

Morgan Burnett sidelined by an ankle injury. Sean Richardson took his place and apparently had a good practice.

Bulaga looking good after tearing his ACL early last year in a preseason scrimmage.
Sherrod looks healthy, but needs tested on the field.

McCarthy doesn't feel he can evaluate ILB with just practice, so Jones will continue to be a starter most likely

That was basically the Packers post-practice press conference

Extra points will be a little bit harder at the start of the preseason, as the NFL is experimenting with moving the spot of the ball back for point after attempts.

Starting with Sunday night’s Hall of Fame Game and through the second week of the preseason, teams will line up at the 15-yard line when kicking extra points. (Two-point conversion attempts will remain at the 2-yard line, and extra points will move back to the 2 for the third week of the preseason and throughout the regular season.)

The NFL decided to try that after a groundswell during last season to do something — anything — to make extra points more interesting. Right now, NFL kickers make more than 99 percent of extra point attempts, making the extra point the most boring play in football. NFL owners voted down a proposal to move extra points back to the 25-yard line, but they agreed to experiment with moving them to the 15 in the preseason and reconsider the idea next offseason.

An extra point spotted at the 15 is the equivalent of a 33-yard field goal, which is still a chip shot for NFL kickers. It wouldn’t be at all surprising if every single longer extra point attempt is good this preseason. If the NFL wants to see how the game is changed by more challenging extra points, it should have moved them back to the 25, or farther.

The NFL could also consider moving two-point conversion attempts from the 2-yard line to the 1, making them easier and therefore giving coaches a greater incentive to go for two. The two-point conversion is one of the most exciting plays in football, and replacing those boring chip-shot kicks with exciting two-point conversion attempts would make the game better for the fans.

But the NFL’s owners are a conservative bunch, and they’re hesitant to make significant changes. Moving back the extra point kick by 13 yards is a very small step in the right direction, and that’s all we’re going to get this year.

I am interested to see if this actually has any affect on games.

Damn. Jags lost two WR's today

Things have been a little hostile in here this morning. It's understandable given the presence of Patriots fans but still, we could use a little more comradery. I suggest we all partake of a delicious fluffernutter to ease the tension.

I hope something like this gets implemented and it leads to more 2 pt conversion attempts. The Lions-Eagles game last year was awesome for a myriad of reasons, but the going for 2 after every TD was great.

ANYTHING that helps alleviate the feeling that the extra point is a given is a very good thing in my opinion. It's a small change, but I think it'll be fun to see in the preseason games.

edit... Berry NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO =(

Football is the worst damn sport for injuries..jesus christ.

Agreed, this many injuries in training camp is troubling =/

Fucking training camp is causing too many damn injuries.

I think most of it is overblown as the media grasps at literally anything to report. Unlike the regular season when most will just play through it, the little bumps, bruises, and twists are treated with a bit more caution during camp. Especially from older players who don't want to be there in the first place.

The only decent culinary item from New England besides clam chowder.

Fucking training camp is causing too many damn injuries.

I'd like to see a comparison of Post CBA and Pre CBA injuries to see if the number really decreased with fewer practices or if a players overall physical shape has more to do with it.
