I was going to try to equate Colin with one of the black dudes on the cast, but then I remembered what show we were talking about. No tattoo'd up thugs on that show! Just a clean, wholesome show about 3 single guys sharing a living space in San Fran!

The meltdowns when we all see that they're not using hardware that can match a top of the line gaming pc will be great.
They're not gonna be the huge jump some people fantasize about.

The people that think the Wii U is weaker than the 360 or PS3 are just as delusional as the people that think either of the new Sony/MS systems will be weaker than the Wii U.

The gap won't be as big as the Wii to the HD twins was.

That's how it always is. Argument then resorts to blahblahblah exclusivses/$5000 computers/upgrading every 6 months just to play games. Resolution banter was awful when folk would complain about 480p then act like 1080/60fps wasn't noticeable. That said, let it go.

Right. Especially now when you can drop $750 and build a pretty kickass gaming computer. Should be even cheaper when Haswell comes out.

I just got done watching that episode. It gave me the impression that NOLA is one gigantic dive bar. Looks like it would be a fun vacation.

To avoid more filthy Ravens talk am I the only one who doesn't really give a fuck about graphics anymore?

I was not very impressed with the graphics of last gen for the most part. I kept feeling like I was playing PS2 games with slightly prettier graphics, the same gameplay and a lot less content for more money (there are some exceptions, Uncharted for example really looked like it came from a different console than most other HD games). I mean my favorite console last gen was the DS, which has absolute garbage graphics.

Sometimes I feel like gaming has peaked and it can't keep pace with internet porn, Reddit and shit like GAF.

Honestly I dont. Playing the wii is as fun as anything else, but the reason I personally like bluray so much is because its durable.
One of my biggest pet peeves is accidentally scratching a disc. Blurays have a thick protective coating and do not get damaged easily.

I agree with you. PS2 HD would sum up this generation. Some real gems, but overall, few classics.
