Thanks. I live in a pretty small town though, so we only get about 400 calls a year.

Yeah, thats how our fire department is. Its the only "charity" i support besides the church. And the government forcibly stealing from me of course.

I dont just give them money, i buy them equipment. That way i know they arent wasting it on bullshit.

And our department is entirely funded through communitu donations and events. No tax dollars, which is kind of rad.

How'd you like come down to the VFW and buy some cold eggs and stale pancakes for grossly inflated prices?!

Ahhh just saw the Tebow lowlights. Nice to see he still looks like a 5 year old throwing a football.

I remember when Tebow "improved" his mechanics after his junior year.

Then he "improved" his mechanics again right before the NFL combine.

Then he went to USC to work with a baseball coach so they could "improve" his mechanics more.

Actually that's probably where he fucked up. What good QB comes out of USC?

We talked about it yesterday in that his mechanics do look slightly different. His short pass release looks considerably more compact. His windup on longer passes seems to be a bit shorter, Squicken was saying that his footwork is different. I don't know if it will help him much, but I didn't see any wounded ducks thrown yesterday. His progressions/decision making still seems slow.

U.S. ? If so how does he like it?

Yep, he was stationed near Sierra Vista, AZ for a very long time. He has been in the BP for about 15 years now, he actually just moved back towards Virginia to became a BP trainer instead of out in the field. He loves his job.

He once was responsible for finding and recovering over 2M worth of cocaine on some drug traffickers crossing the border. Has his picture next to the bust and everything. Pretty cool stuff.

Dangerous job though isnt it? Like one officer for every 200 miles of border or something?

Oh how I missed NFL GaF! Go Packers!

Yeah I knew it's been here but it's not the same posting when its not football season.

NFL GaF is the best GaF

It's extremely dangerous, but a fair amount of the people he comes across are just down to earth people like you and me, trying to make a better life for themselves. The majority of them give up easily and are cooperative with the system.

The "coyotes" that are masterminding these operations can be dangerous. He has been in shootouts with them, car chases, and other bizarre scenarios.

A lot of the work is during the night which adds even more chaos to the job. They have more then 1 person covering 200 MI of border though, they usually travel in packs or plan to target a specific location with lots of agents, depending if they were tipped off prior too.

Overall though many of the people they come across are starving, dehydrated, and about to die in the heat of the sun. They practically give up themselves when they get to that point.
