after reading the book that would be expected. I am even shocked that they even attempted to make the movie. It's pretty impossible to cramp the book in hour and half.
I've up to season 3 in buffy and its fun except the protagonist is such a stupid fucking idiot that I can't relate with anything she does.

You should read the book. It seems trite at first but resounds.
I was stuck in this trap for a few years, myself. Buffy's ok until like season 5 and then it loses all it's charm and eats away at your soul as your girl makes you watch it.
