...was he actually cut? I saw a tweet that he was "no longer with the Niners" but this could be very similar to the Rolando McClain situation. i.e suspended for conduct detrimental to the team.

As to lazy - has there actually been any reports of his being lazy? (genuinely curious) I know he was injured in the preseason...

I read yesterday that he was going to be cut, but isn't official yet. It's why he lost his mind on twitter. As for lazy, I've always just assumed. Dude tends to run soft for such a big guy.

He's not the old Brandon Jacobs, and he's slow to accelerate (part of the problem was our line didn't give him any holes at all last year) but he was the fire to Eli's ice and he and Bradshaw were both very strong at blocking defensive ends out of the backfield.
