All of them? I knew the 2 cbs got it with that, and Joe Haden got it. Wasnt aware there were more addy poppers

You realize that the players can say it's anything right? The NFL doesn't say exactly what drugs the players were guilty of taking, unless I'm mistaken.

It's crazy how Detroit literally crushed Barry Sanders's desire to play the game.

The Oilers were gone and I was a Lions fan b/c that's where Barry was. Such an awful organization. Millen used to go to Barry's house and beg him to come back for a few years after he retired. They refused to trade him.

That's the best Football Life they have done. Most of these they have to sweep under the rug that the subject won 3 SBs while filming the other team practice, or murdered someone in Atlanta, or bribed the Governor of Louisiana to build riverboat casinos. This was a great player who had an interesting story and you are glad good things happened to him

Yep, just found a place in the Woodlands.

Seems better than the Dallas metroplex though.

Going to try and steer our careers towards getting relocated back to Wisconsin or Minnesota or something where they actually have 4 seasons.

Welcome to Texas!!!

New Braunfels/Canyon Lake area is better :p

This is a conspiracy orchestrated by the league office. They see the writing on the wall. It's plain as day that Russell Wilson is destined for the HoF and will rule the NFC West with an iron fist until he retires.

Goodell is trying to help the 49ers out because they get better TV ratings, so he's trying to set them up for one last gasp before they return to the Nolan-era vintage of Niner teams. Unfortunately for him, Harbs has lost his team over a QB controversy that he started himself. The Niners are going to implode down the stretch, lose the division to the Seahawks, and get steamrolled by the Giants in the first round. This is their last chance to win the division until Russell and Pete are gone.

agreed! help us get harbaugh fired over this transgression so we can hire the true next great coach....

and since the NFL never comments on what substance the failed cheaters used, everyone can just say adderall. if you hear someone took steroids? I knew kids took the stuff when I was in college but never really knew how much it helped them. The more I learn about this Adderall the more I think it's almost worse than steroids. Cheatin' Pete passing out the pills to the team before games is like Hollywood Henderson putting cocaine in his water bottles. It is cheating the same as using roids (which they probably also take)

Pete Carroll's Football Life will be something else. 50 minutes of explaining how no one ever heard his side of the 900 scandals he was involved in and 10 minutes on how his Jets tenure wasn't as bad as people think it was

Is drafting a Pro Bowl QB in the 3rd round considered a scandal now?

Yeah, A Football Life is way too biased towards their subjects. Everyone is a patroned saint who did nothing wrong, except that tiiiiny little thing that one time.

NYJ, MIA, WAS, MIN and SF are only teams to start same 5 OL every game this yr. STL, PHI have started NFL-high 9 ea. SEA 8, ARI 7.

They've also drawn 0 defensive pass interference penalties and have played 7 games vs top 5 pass defenses (FO)

Hardest thing for them in dealing with Bustford. Constant injuries and talent issues at other positions. He infrequently looks good but there's always a sheet of reasons/excuses for that.

But he's been captain checkdown the last couple of games. Maybe that makes sense vs AZ and SF, but he needs to let it rip vs BUF, weather permitting (another reason/excuse)

Since this is a football thread I figured I would post this in here. I just started watching Friday Night Lights and HOLY FUCK THIS SHOW IS GOOD.

Friday Night Lights is great, enjoy that shit.

Fucking Bradford has ALWAYS dinked and dunked on the 49ers. He sometimes shreds us though... feelsbadman.

What if Russell Wilson or his Seahawks teammates or Pete Caroll smoke "weed" because it's legalized in Washington State today.

(I know that it doesn't change the law of NFL for drugs-abusing)

SMH @ people in Detroit being mad that Barry left them because he was fed up with the ineptitude of the organization. They would of built shrines of Barry in NY if he played like he did in Detrioit.

If coaches got tested then Payton would of been banned for life.

Please forgive but it's been awhile since I did one of these little rant things. So this is the Rams lone TD opportunity. 4th down and inches after another Saffold false start in the red zone

To start, bad personnel group. Jackson is the lone back that can pass protect. For some reason they took him out of the game once they got inside the 10. With Pead in the game, if he's in the backfield, it means run.

Which leads to the bad play call. Schotty decides to pass, so Pead must be sent out of the backfield. If he stays in, it's just another rusher, only he will not be blocked. They ran this exact play earlier in the year on a failed goal line play. If I remember it then I'm sure the SF coaches and players knew of it too. And as you can see, they all react to Pead.

You could argue that had Bradford immediately targeted Gibson, there could have been a score. But watch the play. A stacked group, they switch on release, then Gibson turns toward Pettis cutting him off a bit. You could say Gibson is open, but watch Bowman. He's jogging under the route playing possum and thinks he's got a pick 6 coming. Pettis has no separation of course

It actually still ends up almost being a score. You see Pead raise his arms (click link to another angle) b/c the pass hits Pettis in his hands, only Brown rakes it out. Some were saying lol Bradford run it in, but it's not there. If he steps up Bowman and Brooks are right there. I really have no problem here. Three step drop, goes through his full progression, and puts the ball where the WR can make a play

It's the league's worst WR corps w/o Amendola playing. Whatever you think of Bustford, the next guy in will still not succeed with these guys. The only Rams WR that I have seen win a contested pass was Danario Alexander, and he could never stay healthy. Probably the Rams biggest curse is that only the good players get hurt. The bad ones never get hurt and continue to inflict their awfulness

Haven't you heard Pete's motto? It's WIN FOREVER. So that mean the Seahawks are going to win the NFC West until the end of time. I'm sorry but that's our destiny, we must admit this fact.

What's weird about that SEA OL number is that it's just one OL position. Their other 21 starters have missed a total of 4 games. STL played multiple games with both a 3rd string LG and LT. SEA basically has played the same 4 guys and then been killed at one position

The hail mary game, catching CHI late and injured instead of early and healthy, and the PEDs. Wilson is going to be the class of QBs in that division, but I'm not sure they are the playoff lock people think they are

Man the Rams' old unis are just so much better.

The really are. I hate the new ones and I think they have petitioned to switch back, but it take awhile. Nike also did something with the colors to make them contrast more. The pants are definitely lighter than the darker yellow of the LA Rams

You realize that the players can say it's anything right? The NFL doesn't say exactly what drugs the players were guilty of taking, unless I'm mistaken.
Baseball does say what the players took and several players have tested positive for Adderall, plus last year 110 players were given permission to take it by MLB. So at least in baseball it is a big thing.

My god that was the worst episode yet. They spent 1 minute talking about him bribing an elected official, and the other 59 on how great he was and how unfair it is that he isnt llowed to own another team. The whole thing was cringe worthy.

It felt like betrayal, dude. He retired when still able to put up big yards. Right before training camp. After the draft and past when most free agents were available. Not that a replacement (even now) would come close, but there was no chance. Rumors about him wanting to force a trade. The bonus money he wanted to keep that was conditional on him playing that year. Did not feel good at the time.

What happened to the talk of the NFC being the superior conference? That seems like it happened so long ago.

Chicago and New York fell apart. Green Bay keeps winning unconvincingly, similar to the Falcons. And San Fran can pretty much be buried at this point and the division can be handed over to Russell Wilson. And Atlanta has a great record, but not even their fans believe in them.

In the AFC we have Houston, who might be the best team in the league and the SB favorite. We have Baltimore, who is one qb away from winning a SB. We have the Steelers, who might just catch 6th seed fire if they can get healthy. And we have Denver, who with a defense can beat anyone anywhere. Sorry Pat fans, though you can go fuck yourself your team is too banged up to be a real contender. One and done again! Hopefully we are the team that is blessed with the chance to put you out of your misery.

If the Texans are the SB favorite then I like our chances when we make it to the big dance.

:lol

As if you are making it there.

With the way the NFC is falling apart you are probably going to have the division and 2 seed wrapped up in another 2 weeks. Rodgers winning 2 games at home? :lol

You must be high on Adderall!

Although a tie and a loss to the Rams is pretty bad for SF. When we are on our game, I find our team to be one of the best in the league. It's just a matter if we catch fire and both offense and defense are playing like they should be. Granted it's mostly the offense that's touch and go but still.

If you lose to the Pats and the Seahawks your team might be seriously fucked.

Did AFC players have a bone to pick with Cam Newton in last season's Pro Bowl?

Yes, reports Pete Prisco of CBSSports.com.

It's true, the AFC did amp up its rush against Newton, the only quarterback sacked and thrown to the ground another time.

Why the animosity in a game notable for its lack of contact? Prisco was told by several unnamed players they didn't like the Carolina rookie's diva act.

"He was a total (bad word)," one AFC player said. "Who did he think he was? He acted like the big (different bad word). Here he was at his first game, and he acted like he was the star. Guys didn't like that."

One example given was when Newton turned down another player's request for an autograph and a picture for his kids at a function.

"Who the hell did he think they were?" a player said. "The only people around are families. He knew that. Yet he big-timed the guy by saying, 'Now's not the time.' "

What made it worse was the identity of the player Newton dissed: Ray Lewis. This was verified to Prisco by several players, though Lewis denied it.

"That's the godfather there," a player said. "Can you believe he did that?"

Two scenarios:

Lose to both, finish 10-5-1, steam roll through playoffs as 6th seed laughing at every team in their home barn before hoisting the Lombardi in front of every disgusting creature that lives in Louisiana.

Beat both, finish 12-3-1 with the 2nd seed, relax on our bye, decimate the sorry ass Packers or mentally crippled Giants before embarrassing the fraud Falcons and stomping any one of the shit garbo AFC teams before hoisting the Lombardi in front of every disgusting creature that lives in Louisiana.

Your team's reign is already coming to an end. You couldnt manage to beat the Rams once. The Rams. That's not a regression to the mean, that's a depression. Only surprise is that I didn't expect that Harbaugh would aid in their demise.
