Seriously, how does this guy stay so fucking calm?

I almost don't know how to react to having a superstar QB being a long time fan of Pittsburgh, usually we just want them to not fuck up and throw INTs.

wtf? did the giants get another bye?

guess they need all the help they can get. rofl. anyway, redskins brought out their C game and still held the chicago offense to 160 yards of total offense.

two straight weeks defense hasn't allowed a TD... however, special teams and offense sure likes to give them away.

if the redskins ever get the offense clicking, the NFC east race is over.

C game? That was their best material this year. Clinton Portis looked like the hoss he is with 36 carries for 171 yards. It was wise of Gibbs to ride him like that going into the bye week, but I don't expect Portis to get near as many touches for the rest of the season, so their goes two-thirds of your offense. Brunell throwing for 95 yards and completing 8 of 22 is about par for the course.

Luckily, the skins played yet ANOTHER terrible offense to make their D look that much better. If you had seen the game you would have seen an empty husk of a passing game for the Bears. The "second-best run defense in the league" gave up 97 yards on 24 carries, an average of 4.1 yards per carry. Considering you only had to play against the run, what does that have to say about you?

At 2-4 for the 'Skins, and 4-1 for the Giants, you are right, the Giants are the ones that need all the help they can get. Thank God that this bye week will slow down the building momentum that they had after demolishing Dallas, a team that the 'Skins really didn't do much against.

Barely squeaking by a team as bad as the Bears are at this point, congrats! Putting together another 10 consecutive wins isn't out of the question!

But yeah you're right this is our second bye week. The first was when playing the Redskins, didn't even need to show up.

Wow....Cowboy fans are getting owned by the Steeler fans in their own stadium. It's like watching a Steelers home game. I may hate the Steelers, but their fans deserve tons of credit today.

This Ruben Droughns guy is pretty good. He's only rushed for 375 yards in 2 games so far and he's still got a quarter left to try for his second consecutive 200+ yard game.

bionic I gotta give you guys props today whether you win or not... goddamn Ben is playing like he's been in the NFL for years... he's calm under pressure, he's accurate, he reads defense incredibly well..... I'm thinking now we took out the wrong QB for Pitt. ;)

I can't wait until next year. If the Steelers get a few pieces for defense in the draft, they are going to be a legit Superbowl contender. Their only weakness right now is their defense and that is going to be a lot better next year.

Soon he'll have more touchdowns than yards.

Ughhhhhhh, Cowboys suck. So close to bringing us one game closer to the Steelers, but they had to fuck it up.

poor cowboys. they have to be sick over losing this game (if they lose it).

god knows the niners have been in the cowboys spot enough over the past couple years :(

Don't the Steelers DBs watch Primetime?

I can't wait for the Eagles to choke in the NFC Championship game again, their fans are so fucking annoying.

And god damn you Stuvaints I could have fucking caught that INT...thats like the 6th INT we've had in our hands this year and we drop them, fucking POS.

I take offense to that. Your sentiments may ring true of some Eagles fans, but not me. I like the Eagles, but I don't go out of my way to say they are the best at this or the best team in the NFC/NFL. Meanwhile you have Redskins fans that are constantly talking shit, while their team is barely 2 - 4. And it's not just Eagles fans talking out against this, Cowboys and Giants fans are doing the same.

For the other loyal Steelers fans out there, when is the last time the Steelers have come back from 10 points in the 2nd half? I can't remember any of our teams in recent memory that did anything like. We never had a QB who could bring us back from a defeat, that has all changed with Big Ben. :D

You have a short memory then,Maddox brought us back from way more than 10 points a few years ago in the playoffs against the Browns in the snow, fuckin awesome game.

goddamit, Griese!
GA fantasy scores are posted.

And again I will say it, the Falcons are not as good as their record. They'll be out in the first round. Their D is decent, but their offense is mostly horrible, with some excellent plays mixed in. They are not good enough.

I have nothing against the Falcons either(I'm a Bears fan first, then a Colts fan(I loved Harbaugh. I live in Indiana. I am no bandwagoner =p Colts have always been my AFC team, wtf do I care about the Falcons)...SO I'm not hating. I'm just saying what I've seen.

Ahh, yeah I remember that. Maddox seemed like he was going to be big for us for awhile, but then he just fell apart. Looks like it is all over for him.

Crazy game.....I think my heart stopped beating at some point.

Thank goodness Steelers have a bye next week, the Dallas turf seemed to be eating guys up. Losing Hampton for any length of time will hurt the D a lot I'm afraid. Hopefully that's not the case. But he didn't look happy on the sidelines at all.

I can't bring up the words to describe Ben.....insane. All the talk he was getting up to this week was getting me really nervous, and then he pulls out his best game yet. Just hope his knee ain't dinged up too bad.

goddamit, Griese!
just a question...does every single player on both teams have an extensive interview with paul maguire?

"So I talked to the Vikings mascot at dinner last night, and he told me was was excited. Not just a little excited, but very excited. He's ready to cheer his team on. You can expect excitement out of that mascot. He wouldn't lie at dinner, when he told me he would be really excited for this game."

Maddox will forever be remembered as an LA Xtreme. Don't you fuckers try to steal him from us!

*sigh* and Philly sticks a knife in the Panthers season.

And fucking McNabb couldn't even help me in my fantasy team this week, choosing to throw a pick and no TD this week.

Fucking A.

"Edge stole Big Ben's helmet"
First and foremost, Big Ben is a grown ass mandog. What a great draft pick, I can't imagine Eli and Rivers to be better than this.

Unfortunately for us Steeler fans, looks like we may have lost Scott and Hampton for the season. Scott isn't a HUGE blow, hopefully Colclough can come in and play well, but Hampton could be devastating. He is the anchor in the middle of that D and they're going to have to do some weird shifting if he's out. Big win today though, big win.

How stupic can a coach be to leave in a QB that can't even hit a wide open WR, but manages to pass to the opposing team.

Tuiasosopo, should have been in development as the Raiders QB so he could later on he could replace Gannon. Collins couldn't throw a good deep ball if he and the reciever were the only one on the field.
