The black man everyone at Activision can agree on
Damn impressive win for you Steelers this week. Our defense showed you how to shut down for the most part Philly this week, your offense can put more points up than us so you guys are lined up really well to be able to beat them.

we won today and god does TO rock but we cant play like this against pitt and expect to win. too many penalties this past 4 weeks and we keep alternating....ever since that lions game...either our offense plays good or our D. against chicago it was our O, against car it was our D, against cleveland it was our O, and now our D again. we havent put together a full game yet and i know a win is a win i hate these ugly wins. with our offense we should be scoring more. i know westbrook is out...he better be back for the pitt game. we will need everything.

BEST.....HALLOWEEN........EVER!

Maybe now you will learn not to doubt the NFL Messiah after this. :D

This was the first game I saw where a team was really worried about Big Ben, which just set up the run all night long. And then in the 2nd half the Pats defense was just too tired to stop the run. Perfect game all around for the Steelers.

Now bring in the Igles. They are next after "21 and done". :D

Ban plz.

Seriously, this game has to be nominated for one of the worst of the year.
Well, whether or not it is the worst game remains to be seen, but it certainly is the game between the worst teams.

And chill out, I'm picking the Steelers over the Eagles next week. :D

As a PA man both the Eagles and Steelers came through for me today in the football pools. :D I have a feeling that the steelers will also end my eagles win streak as well (anyone else from philly here wanna discuss?)

As for the Raven QB talk, IMO Aaron Brooks(always living in cousinMike Vicks shadow) is really unhappy in NO , he would make a pretty good/reliable QB with the ravens.

Boston Redsox curse is over, so one was placed on the Patriots (lose all the rest of the season) j/k

goddamit, Griese!
i have always said any game can be great. doesn't matter how good the teams are, a great game is a great game.

both teams are going nowhere, but if it's a great game, it's a great game.

Hey, I never doubt. I just decide to not partake in the pregame talking festivities. It's just a superstition I have. I do however take note of phrases like, "You guys aren't going anywhere this year." Or, "oh well as long as Pitt goes down to the Pats(pretty much a a given)" And, "Cool, I'll have to watch for that right after the Patriots beat the Steelers." And I store them in memory. :D

The Eagles game should be a great one next week. Duce against his old team.

keep your strippers out of my American football
Awesome day of Football. I went to the Texans game, had a BLAST! The Vikes beat the Ravens complete with some T.O. taunting, Giants beat the Vikes ass, Pitt took the Pats out, Chiefs won a shootout with the Colts, and Sand Diego keeps showing the rest of the league they are not the doormats we all thought they were going to be.

Based on what you've seen so far which are the best rookies?

1. Ben Roethlisburger
2. Roy Williams
3. Jonathan Vilma
4. Dunta Robinson
5. Kevin Jones

Rookie nothing! Roethlisberger is the best damn player, PERIOD! He outplayed Brady and ended the streak (and soon the dynasty).

This is pretty sad. Kevan Barlow sucks. Eric Johnson only has one reception. Brandon Lloyd made that first catch which the fucking ref called back. The 2nd time im not too sure of, but it seemed to me that he got touched before the second time his knee hit by Brandon Lloyd.

Damnit.

P.S. Good job Defense, even though the score doesnt show it, good hard playing today.

come on, are these announcers stupid? If your knee hits the ground and you're not touched, you're not down.
Yeah, I was kind of amused by that myself. This ain't college, boys.

If your knee hits the ground and you're not touched, you're not down.

if the opposing player touches you at all and CAUSES you to fall down or touches you while you are in the falling motion, then you are considered down by contact. lloyd obviously touched him which means he would be down.

they also screwed us on that brandon lloyd catch which clearly there was no shots of the ball hitting the ground, therefore the call on the field should stand. the ref just assumed the ball hit the ground, that's not how replays should be handled. indisuptable visual evidence.

but, the refs screwing us out of plays didn't cost us this game. ken dorsey did. i thought craig krenzel was garbage (and he is), but ken dorsey was even WORSE than krenzel

bottom of the power rankings here we come!

Yeah, but he didn't have full control of the ball when he went down. I'm with the ref on that call.

As for the incomplete pass review, well, THAT was some bs. I don't see how they could have reversed that. There was just no real proof on that one.

Man...:lol

That Terrell Owens dance was fucking hilarious. That'll be my new avatar once I get the video captured.

i really wasn't surprised about the bad officiating against us.

case in point: in quarter 2, chicago gets a nice kick return. i see a niner who could have made the tackle at the chicago 40 or so, he is pretty obviously being held but nothing is called, the officials cant catch everything.

niners get an IDENTICAL return (not as nice, but to the chicago 40) in the 4th, and a niner was holding a bear in the same exact way, and it gets called. i guess its just luck when things get called and against who, but oh well

i hope we go 1-15, then get the #1 pick. but even then i know that our cheap ass owner will just trade down for the #32 pick and a 4th, 5th and 6th rounder. i <3 you dr. york!
