NFL Wild Card Playoffs |OT| - It's Time for a SWITCH™

You put a true middle of the road (Dalton) QB on that Raiders team, and in no way do they win 12 games

Yeah I agree with that. Carr is 10-15, where Dalton is 15-20. I actually like Dalton's game more than most but he just doesn't have Carr's arm strength

I'm told Cleveland Police have a 30-45 second video of alleged assault and # Browns Corey Coleman is not in it http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2017/01/browns_corey_coleman_denies_in.html …

Good. I saw an updated story where the guy had no idea who hit him and woke up in a stairwell. That's pretty scary but I'm glad there is video so they get the right people

I agree I was mostly joking. I think all 3 go in the 1st, Humphrey is the most likely to fall, just cuz out of Humphrey, Tabor, Wilson, Jones, Lattimore, Jackson, someone is bound to fall. And that's even ignoring some people, it's just so stacked at CB.

Also, curious to hear your thoughts on Fournette after he's been usurped by Cook as the top back and his relatively disappointing season
That's probably where he should be tbh..
If Chubb had come out.. which I get.. but I feel he's taking an unnecessary risk

I would have
Cook
Chubb
Fournette

Leonard's problem is that he wasn't really given as much of an opportunity due to how atrocious the QB play was in LSU to show all his skills. The playbook was give it to Fournette and Guice for the most part.

That's right, which is why you need to let the Dolphins have McMillan.
You can have him be your run stopping LB.. as long as it's not Pittsburgh..

Who scores more TDs this weekend - ODB or the rest of the NFL?
Rest of the NFL..

I have been given zero reason to trust the Giants O and I am not trusting them now.

Not a McCaffrey fan huh? And I knew you were high on Chubb so that's not too surprising. A part of me really wants Cook on the Eagles, I'm just not sure he'll still be there. But I think he's perfect for the WCO, especially since he's got good hands. He's like Jamaal Charles with a dash of Le'Veon Bell. Donta Foreman is another intriguing prospect if they go Davis or CB in the first round though. Hope he falls to the 3rd but before the combine guessing that is blindly throwing darts at a board.

Gregory is such a tease, I want to pull for him but you cannot fix stupid, such a waste for a D line that has been stepping their game up the past month

So what 10-15 QBs are you placing above Carr? If you're building long term he is easily top 5 with a case for #1.

Panthers DC Sean McDermott and assistant GM Brandon Beane both expected to interview with the 49ers for their vacant head coaching and GM positions respectively.

Interesting.

Panthers play in San Fran next year.

EDIT: For context, Beane was Hurney's right hand man on the football ops side for the Panthers and was hired over for Gettleman in 2012. And McDermott, of course, was a long-term disciple of Jim Johnson in Philly

Wildcard predictions:

GB over NY
DET over SEA

PIT over MIA
OAK over HOU

I won 500 dollars in an NFL picking contest at a casino over the break so these are pretty much assured!

Oh man. This means Green Bay would go to Atlanta, and both teams would score all of the points ever.

That's what everyone said the first time they played this year and he only ended up having 56 yards receiving.

The O-line still needs to be reasonable and Eli needs to play better than he has the last few weeks.

The run game actually exists now to some extent. We had Darkwa and Rainey taking the bulk of the carries and they did nothing. Marshall Newhouse was still starting at RT. Bobby Hart will likely get the nod this week.

On the back end? We had Leon Hall playing the slot most of the game and Cobb torched him often. Hall is playing safety now. Apple was still injured. His first game back from the hamstring injury, etc.

Both teams are so different now than what they were in October.....

The Saints fired a bunch of assistant coaches, but Payton is still there, so maybe the trade stuff really is dead. idk. This round of coaching firings/hirings seems to be going slower than usual

Russ, Rodgers, Brady, Ryan, Ben, MM, Luck, Brees, Stafford for sure. That's nine. And then it is a coin flip with a few guys. Could even argue MM and Stafford but I'd rather have those two

It is not complicated.

Double Odell and don't let him beat you.

Rush someone good from the left side and make their clownshoes LT and someone other then Beckham beat you.

If mayor mccheese or whoever the fuck else they have on offense beats you and the LT gives up zero sacks you can live with that. That is really improbable. But if Odell scores 3 long TDs over the top against single coverage and you lose by 3, well then you done fucked up and deserved to lose for being so damn stupid.
They, umm, are a little thin on DBs and their starters sucked to begin with. They likely cannot keep up with him even double teaming.

At this point what happens to his development? He has the athleticism but dude has barely played or practiced. You still have him for a year on his rookie contract after the suspension but is it even worth it? A year long suspension will only it make harder for him not to use pot.

The worse thing is Danielle Hunter is like a taller, younger, more athletic Randy Gregory without the mental health issues and he was taken a round later.

Caf is Darren Sproles 2.0 to me.. It's not that I'm not a fan.. it's that if I'm taking a running back to lead my running game.. it's not Caf.

I think Cook could be there.. I'm not going to comment on Foreman because I didn't watch Texas this year (who honestly could..) Foreman's problem is that he's going to fall because of how good the RBs are this year.

As far as I know this was about missing a piss test. The only reason he missed it was because he was in rehab. How are you gonna suspend a player for being in rehab?
Would he have failed the test, had he not gone to rehab? Either way, he made his bed. Same goes with drugs Aldon Smith.

Oh yeah, forgot about Rex.

I think Gregory has anxiety issues and self medicates by smoking a little weed. Unless I'm mistaken, I don't think he has ever hurt anybody.

Hopefully when the next CBA is negotiated they can get weed taken off the banned list.

So, we're 100% sure that Rick Smith didn't draft Derek Carr because David was a lousy QB, right?

Two differing stories. One is privately the Carrs asked that the Texans not draft him. The other is the the owner told his football people not to draft him b/c he didn't care for the parents. David Carr has said that he didn't work hard enough, and other players from that time have said the same thing. So I think it's probably that McNair thought that he'd turn out like his brother since they were raised by the same parents
