Nonis did the right thing. Burke probably would have accepted that final offer..

Luongo turns 34 tomorrow...

If anyone was curious, the asking price by Gillis for Luongo was Scrivens and a pair of second-round draft picks.

But but Gillis said 4 teams were calling :(

GM: Hey Gillis.... shut up guys, stop laughing...hey Gill my man, my bro you unload luongo yet? because we're willing to offer a 1st round pick, a top prospect and a top six forward for him if you're interested!

Gillis: Really that'd be great, well let's discuss......

GM: NAHHHHHHHHHHHH man why are you so dumb,*laughter* hey guys he fell for it, i can't believe he actually fell for-

Gillis: *click*

:lol

Habs 2nd periods are always garbage. Hopefully Therrien calls a timeout if they don't pick it up soon.

Is it just me or does MSG sound REALLY quiet tonight? It's been bothering me basically since the start of the game.

Is this what it normally sounds like on TV this year? This is our first home game this season I'm not actually in the building for.

GREAT shift by the fourth line (if you count everything before the icing) ends with Powe drawing a penalty. Great work, guys.

Well a traded player has been on every single goal but 1 so far tonight.

Brassard was on the first goal, Clowe on the second, Clowe scored the third, Brassard scored the second, and Brendon Morrow was on Pittsburgh's goal, so new acquisitions across the board!

Meh, double post

The sound/atmosphere seemed kind of weird in the last game Philly played there. I assumed it was because of the remodeling or whatever's going on at MSG.

Just tuned in to see the Rags make it 5-1. Aaaand I'm out. I've no doubt Bylsma can get these guys turned around for the post season, but the past two games without Crosby have been more than a bit worrisome.

Two flukey goals. Terrible period, not surprising they're down.

Edit: :lol just saw the Prust goal what a play

Worth pointing out: the Rangers are 3 for 3 on the power play tonight.

Darroll Powe is an unsung hero tonight. Not really going to show up on any stat sheet, but he has drawn two of those three penalties.
