Chris Neil wants to retire a Sen, it's only right that All-Bran give him the opportunity.

Goalie leaving Toronto...

Per a source, "there is a good chance the Leafs are moving out a goalie in the next 24 hours." -

Yeah no shit. Not like the Leafs are going to mull over any trade for Bozak unless Anaheim wanted the Leafs to retain like 20% of the contract or some shit.

Eklund spent the whole season predicting Buff was going to be a Flyer, which never made any sense.

If he's just going to make stuff up, I don't know why he doesn't make it more believable.

The Blackhawks/Wild NHL Stadium Series game, part of Hockey Day in America, earned a 1.2 overnight rating on NBC Sunday afternoon — down a tick from last year’s comparable indoor Bruins/Blackhawks matchup (1.3).

The 1.2 is the lowest yet for an outdoor NHL game on broadcast television (11 telecasts), falling below the previous low of 1.6 for a Rangers/Devils Stadium Series game in January 2014. The overall low comes on the heels of record-low numbers for the Winter Classic, which had a 1.8 overnight.

Minnesota’s blowout win was lost in the shuffle Sunday afternoon, ranking behind the Daytona 500 on FOX (6.1), PGA Tour on CBS (2.8) and NBA on ABC (2.7).

Penguins/Sabres had a 0.8 overnight earlier in the day, even with Capitals/Flyers last year. NBCSN scored a 0.5 for the Rangers/Red Wings nightcap, up 150% from last year’s Stars/Wild matchup (0.2). The big jump on NBCSN propelled the full Hockey Day in America tripleheader to a 0.9 overnight — up a tick from last year (0.8).

Buffalo was Sunday’s top market with a 10.1 rating for Penguins/Sabres. Minneapolis scored a 9.4 for Blackhawks/Wild, its highest ever for a regular season Wild game on NBC.

Hockey in Minnesota just doesn't work.

The Rangers have called up Brady Skjei. One of the theoretically healthy D is either under the weather or unavailable, so there's a good chance Skjei will play against the Devils tonight.

Reimer's finally getting his wish.
lol eklund

He actually deserves better than how the organization's treated him over the years. The only issue is that he's a UFA after this season, so the return might not be so high for him.

And no one's gonna want Bernier, but he is on a short-term deal. Could be helpful to a team looking for something temporary.

What a weird, weird hockey season up to this point.

Caps tearing it up
Patrick Kane
Habs tanking and then floundering and not tanking
Sidney Crosby

Just weird.

Baie-Comeau's record in the Q league is 8-43-2-2.

How do you do that?

They are one of the teams in the Q that have trouble getting top talent to play for them, similar to Acadie-Bathurst. Some players that get drafted by them end up demanding trades to their hometown team in the Q or a team in a city like Halifax. Probably because they are remote and are in a bad location compared to like 90% of the other teams.

They also traded away their far and away best defencemen in Nicholas Meloche (colorado prospect).
